OMG OMG SO MUCH 3D!!

I just... *catches breath*

My EYES....

Folks, if you don't have it, Final Destination 4 3D is the big winner - prices for that on other sites are stupid, but it is great fun in 3D...

Goldenwheels this was an awesome drop... hope everyone gets what they wanted!

It feels like a good portion of our group eventually gave up and went to bed. Poltergeist II and III would be OOS like TCM2 otherwise. Hopefully I'm wrong and Hamilton just has a decent amount of copies.

Nothing for me though... same as usual, it's either I have what I want or iut's not 4K or I just simply probably won't ever rewatch them. Call The Midwife is slightly tempting, albeit a little more than I'd want to pay, but BBC/WB dropping the BD completely and it only having been on BD in the US anyway makes them not worthwhile to me.

There’s a bunch of new 3D titles at the $7.95 price point. Might not have pulled to sonicyogurts script as they look to be from Spain.

I kinda skpped over those. They appear to Brazilian imports... when GW imports he doesn't hold back.

I've seen it, not a big fan of the movie and yes I am 100% only buying it for Kristin Bell.

You're right. I had forgotten to check the 3D Blurays filter until you mentioned this, and there's a lot of 3D stuff... most of it with Spanish covers. However, I own every single one of them already, so nothing for me to buy.

This also reminded me to check DVDs where I search for "series" or "seasons", but nothing interesting to me. I doubt there will ever be any more gems like that Charmed S1-S4 $7.95 set that I missed.

Due to the high number of people so excited over the $15 Poltergeist II and III Blurays, I looked up the Shout Factory reviews to see what the big fuss was over. I assume it's because they are OOP rather than the movies are particularly good. I've seen Poltergeist probably 20+ times (I can practically quote the entire movie). I saw Poltergeist II twice and III once in my life because I was so disappointed by them. It's hard to pay $15 each when the MGM versions aren't THAT bad, according to the reviews and screenshots. Main difference is the color timing and a slightly better bitrate, plus a ton of extras missing on the MGM discs. Now if only I had put a few thousand dollars into Apple stock 20 years ago like almost everyone else and their grandma, then $15 a movie would be nothing to me and I'd splurge, but sadly for me I didn't. I'll still pass on these at $15 each.

I was digging through the DVD section looking for those series and seasons boxsets also. Someone in the Big Lots thread posted a pic of a big restock of them at their store, but they were priced $15. Maybe next month Hamilton will have a restock like Big Lots.

I know it's too early to post a haul list until it's confirmed in the mail BUT...
It does seem that the Wacken blu is also 3D for anyone that might be interested...
PLUS you could impress your friends by inviting them to join in watching your Wacken in hi-def and in 3D no less...

I kid I kid - now on to the haul!

Love the original. The sequels are pretty bad, imo.

This month's drop finally had enough of my tastes to push me into ordering for the first time in 3 months! I was mainly interested in the animated DC releases and some Shout titles, everything else was just things I had been sitting on. Hopefully nothing went out of stock and my order makes it to me complete!

I never noticed The Farewell listed on HB, nor can I find it now (maybe it went OOS). How much was it? Just curious if it was by chance cheaper than Best Buy's $5.99 Black Friday price for next week...
It was $5.95.

Thanks. I actually just found it right after I posted that using their Search in a slightly different way. Weird that it didn't come up the first time. I deleted my post within less than a minute, but see you beat me to it and quoted it in the interim! So what you're saying, is that I'll be wasting 4 cents, if I chose to buy it next week at Best Buy? Damn! But maybe I'll make it up on my BB Rewards instead...

EDIT: Ah... I see what happened now! I probably did see it before (in a prior batch drop), but passed on it since it was the Canadian version. No worries then.
