Kingsman Kentucky Derby Promo and Vaughn Talks 3rd Film

Kingsman Kentucky Derby promo and Vaughn talks 3rd film

20th Century Fox has released a new Kentucky Derby promo for Kingsman: The Golden Circle which you can watch below! We also got a chance to talk to director Matthew Vaughn in London on Friday and he told us he already started planning a third filming while writing The Golden Circle. “No one will predict where Eggsy winds up” in the The Golden Circle, he said. Vaughn also mentioned that there’s so much great footage he’s being forced to cut (he hates long films), that he’s considering an extended cut down the road.

Kingsman: The Secret Service introduced the world to Kingsman – an independent, international intelligence agency operating at the highest level of discretion, whose ultimate goal is to keep the world safe. In Kingsman: The Golden Circle, our heroes face a new challenge. When their headquarters are destroyed and the world is held hostage, their journey leads them to the discovery of an allied spy organization in the US called Statesman, dating back to the day they were both founded. In a new adventure that tests their agents’ strength and wits to the limit, these two elite secret organizations band together to defeat a ruthless common enemy, in order to save the world, something that’s becoming a bit of a habit for Eggsy…

Directed by Matthew Vaughn from a script by Jane Goldman and Vaughn, and based on the comic book The Secret Service by Mark Millar and Dave Gibbons, Kingsman: The Golden Circle stars Colin Firth, Julianne Moore, Taron Egerton, Mark Strong, Halle Berry with Sir Elton John, and Channing Tatum, and Jeff Bridges. It will arrive in theaters on September 22.

I loved the first movie and the comic book, I'm looking forward to the second movie and the Red Diamond comic book but I hope they see how this one does first before doing too much more

I just discovered the first one earlier this week and I had a good laugh. I went a bit too chaotic and over the top for my taste in the end, losing the focus. But I still enjoyed it a lot. So, yeah, keep them coming. As long as it isn't a let-down like Kick-Ass 2. I know, I know, not the same man in the chair.

... AND JANE GOLDMAN! Seriously, you need to edit the title, because Goldman is a big driving influence and it's definitely a collaboration between those two.

If it happens, I hope he returns to direct the third film as well. I haven't gotten around to the first yet, but I love me some Matthew Vaugh, and I'm sure I'll like it when I see it.

When more information is made available, or a full title is revealed, I'll ask the mods to change it. Right now all we have is that he's planning out a third.

First one was rubbish. Won't bother with the sequel. Hopefully, if #2 tanks then #3 will stay on the page.

I disagree, the first one was a blast & my favorite film of 2014. Looking forward to the sequel & I'm hopeful #3 will be fun as well.

Kingsman 3 To Begin Filming January; New Character Details Revealed

Quote:
The third Kingsman movie is reportedly set to begin filming in January 2019, and may introduce characters from the upcoming historical prequel, Kingsman: The Great Game.

According to That Hashtag Show, Kingsman 3 will lay the groundwork for Kingsman: The Great Game, the prequel movie that director Matthew Vaughn recently revealed to be in the works, which will explore the early days of the organization. The third movie in the "Eggsy Trilogy" will apparently begin filming in January 2019, and will be shot back-to-back with Kingsman: The Great Game. The intriguing new information in this report regards the characters who will lead the prequel movie, and who will apparently be introduced in Kingsman 3:

The studio is on the lookout for two new leads. One of those new leads will be a teen by the name of Conrad. The young, cocky and charming son of a British Duke, Conrad is eager to find a way to serve his country during World War I…and perhaps the Kingsman offer him just that opportunity. The studio is also looking to cast an older lead male and while no details about his character have been revealed, we do know that the Ralph Fiennes is near or at the top of the studios list.

According to this report, Vaughn and his screenwriting partner, Jane Goldman, plan to use Kingsman 3 to "open a backdoor" to the prequel, which seems like a smart play now that the original trilogy is coming to a close. In addition to The Great Game, there are also plans for an 8-hour television series and a spinoff film about Statesman, Kingsman's U.S. counterpart, which was introduced in Kingsman: The Golden Circle.

The second film killed off too many of the good characters from the first and never lived up to its potential. Not looking forward to another sequel at all.

I hated that! Still liked the movie but the first one is clearly superior.

We never actually SAW her die. Hell, I was expecting her to show up alive and unharmed throughout the entire movie.

She could have had one of those beds that turns into a blast-proof coffin.
