What's a good laptop with a Blu-ray drive that won't cost me an arm and a leg? The reason I ask is that my current laptop is physically breaking and I'm going to need a new one.

You going to be hard pressed to find a laptop with an optical drive let alone a BR drive. Most of the laptops that come out now are sans optical drive & the ones that have one are ones that are more expensive. This is the main reason as to why I haven't upgraded my Vaio with a BR drive yet. You can however, purchase a laptop & then get a usb powered BR drive for an affordable price.
