Just a heads up, Wonder Boy is going on sale tomorrow and will sell out like usual.

Lawbreakers also goes on sale tomorrow. As far as I know, this is only a FPS multiplayer game, no campaign or anything so having a disc when they shut off the servers won't matter (hopefully many years in the future though), just food for thought.

Just a reminder that the event we have all been waiting for goes on sale tomorrow, NIGHT TRAP!

And in keeping with the theme, they're also selling a more recent FMV game called The Bunker.

I bought Firewatch from LRG some time ago, just to support this initiative.

Good info. I realize you stated these are only the PS4 versions in your initial post, but the only other numbered releases are PSVita titles. Did you think of adding the PSVita titles to this list just for competitions and information sake for those looking for the full set? I have them, but others who are new to the LRG world may not know about all of them. Thanks and great work.

Wish I knew about them earlier, I would have liked to have gotten Firewatch but for the prices it goes for on the secondary market, I'll just stick with digital for that.

Sticking to just PS4 since that's the sub-forum we're in but another thread could be started in the Vita forum for the other ones. I don't have a Vita so I don't really have an interest in setting it up. Maybe if I get bored at work one day I'll go through them and list them out under a spoiler tag here.

I've been following LRG since sometime last year I think. It would take a truly special game (that I don't already own) to get me to make a purchase. For the price, I'd rather get some of these games when they're really cheap during a digital sale. But the physical collector in me knows that I'd be tempted by a few titles I already own haha.

N++ moving slowly. Guessing if Lili had a bigger run it would be on the slower side too. Only care about collecting for Vita so been a nice break not having to buy anything for a few weeks before the madness than YS will be next week unless they go through with this pre-order for an alternate cover idea they are tossing around.

Not surprising, seeing as there were only 1900 copies printed. Keep in mind that 75% of stock is allotted for the 10:00am window, and the remaining 25% should be available for the 6:00pm window, so anyone who missed out on either edition of Lili a few hours ago can try again in about 5 hours.

That's cause I guess there were more copies. I think around 4800.

That's why I'm not interested in going for the "limited" edition (limited edition of a limited release, obvious cash grab is obvious). Odds are better going for the regular version which is how I got my copy of Lili, took about 3-5 minutes for that to sell out this morning.

I'm not surprised N++ is a slow seller and still available right now, it just doesn't look interesting. Maybe as an Atari game from 1984 but not today.

Yeah that is what I was meaning by Lili probably would have been moving slower if it had a bigger run too.

N++ has reviewed well with both critics and gamers. It has also sold a lot more than Lili has on Steam. So there is a fanbase for it and it is the more popular game released today. It just has way too big of a run when it wasn't that in demand. 2500 would have been more than enough. Like usual LRG are horrible at judging the size of print runs though.

Thing is, LRG isn't setting the size of the print run on any title; the developer is. LRG has the option of requesting a larger print run, but ultimately, the developer has the final say.

It depends on the title. While I don't disagree that the LE version of Lili was a fairly obvious cash grab (given its deliberate smaller print size and meager inclusion of extras, in an attempt to justify the $15 premium over the regular edition), there have been past instances where the markup of a LE/CE was (at least for me) proportionate and fitting. Value, like anything, is in the eye of the beholder.

Despite the apparent frenzy over some of LRG's select offerings in the past month, I've always opted for the LE/CE variant wherever possible, and I've been (knock on wood) lucky thus far. Nothing against the regular edition; it's just personal preference.

Asdivine Hearts by Kemco released last year on PS4, PS3, PS Vita, and PC, and those of you who wish to get a hold of a physical copy of the old-school RPG will get to do so on Friday, August 25, 2017.

The physical copies of Asdivine Hearts will be available thanks to Limited Run Games who made the recent announcement.

For those of you who arenít too familiar with the title, Asdivine Hearts is an orthodox-style RPG with hand-drawn visuals in a 2D fantasy world with turn-based battles.

Hereís more about the story from Kemco:

One year ago, the world of Asdivine was enveloped by a brilliant flash of light. Since that time, the influence of shadow has only continued to grow ever more powerful across the face of the land. And though the event itself was undoubtedly connected with the heavens, few people seem to have realized the far-reaching implications of what transpired. Now turning to the present, a surprising revelation awaits a young man by the name of Zack and his childhood friend, Stella, in the capital from a chubby cat claiming to be none other than the Light Deity and declaring the world to be on the verge of a great collapse.

Although skeptical at first, this band of unlikely adventurers soon finds this chance encounter to be only the beginning of an adventure set to not only change their lives, but their fates, as well.

Asdivine Hearts is currently available on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, and PC. The physical release by Limited Run Games will be available on PS4 and PS Vita next Friday.

Ys Origin is now listed on their site.

70+ releases with nothing interesting me & now they seem to have releases that I want every week.

Yes and no. LRG are in full control of the print runs they release. Sure during negotiations a developer can request a run size or reject the proposal and not even get a release so I am sure there are times LRG have bent a bit on what they wanted to get a deal done. But LRG have the final say when it comes down to it and by no means have to agree with a print run size unless they think it is fine. After all a print run so large it never sells out could kill a company like that so they are not about to let a developer dictate that. They have admitted numerous times that they have either underestimated or overestimated demand so it is clear they know they have dropped the ball a few times. Even with their first release they were saying they expected it to be available for a couple of weeks and then were surprised when it didn't even last a weekend. I think they must have looked at how slow NIS, FanGamer and sites like that sell with a non-limited time pre-order window that they thought 1,500 copies would take a couple of weeks to sell.

Hopefully this 24 hour pre-order test with YS goes well since it is a much better way of doing things than their current model.
