I have a Panasonic DMP-BDT230 and just recently I've been encountering some issues with it.
First of all, my receiver crapped out on me a few weeks ago so I don't know if there was a power surge that affected the receiver and Blu-ray player at the same time or what. I now have a brand new Yamaha receiver and I've been able to get everything working except for the Blu-ray player. When I turn the player on, the Blu-ray logo shows up on the screen but after that, it stops sending a signal. I can't open up a menu to change any settings, use Netflix, etc. etc. However, if I put a movie in, turn off the player and turn it back on, it will load the movie and play it with no issues. How do I get everything else to work again? I have gotten a few good years out of this player so if it's not repairable, it's not the biggest deal, I suppose. |
