I, of all people, would be the first to immediately play this in its foreign language as I do every movie

I loathe English audio overdubs on any medium. I actually LOVE listening to a Korean, Japanese or Chinese language audio while reading subtitles. Love it!

But this game was not written or performed in Japanese -
It was written and performed in English.

And I still painstakingly compared playing this game with both language settings, hoping the Japanese would fair better, but it did not.
The English works, flows, matches better.

I just disagree and I think we may be talking past each other. If a developer said English is the official language then ok I won't argue with their characterization. I haven't seen that if it happened, or that they intended it to be played in English. I know the Japanese was added mid development and I'm not debating that they started with that intention, but it doesn't seem like the Japanese was added just to support Japanese speakers. It's prominent user option ("experience" as the game puts it) that they ask you to choose between, to include the Kurosawa Mode. English dialog is listed as the "standard" experience so there's that.

This game really comes into its own and as it progresses! I am playing it in Japanese and I think it adds to the experience a lot.

Any good tips to finding hot springs? I know you can follow the birds, but any other tips?
I have only found a couple so far.

You can get the skill that searches them with the wind for a tech point or just follow the golden bird like i do .

Cyberpunk just crashed. So, waiting to start it up I visited this thread. Ghost is tremendous but my GOTY was Yakuza: Like Dragon.

For some reason this isn't sucking me in quite as much as i'd hoped. It's a great looking game and very well put together but it just feels a little flat or lacking for me. I don't find the world as interesting as i thought i might. Great graphics though and the fighting mechanic is fun.

It does get better once you're past the first island.

Just started act 3, it's OK, still not grabbing me much to be honest and i'm looking forward to finishing it and moving onto something else. The stealth sections are kind of fun and the graphics are great. I'd been alternating between Resident Evil 0 and this but i finished up Resident Evil 0 yesterday so will just focus on this to get it out of the way.
