What are most desirable or rare marvel steels? The ones come to mind the most would be:

Iron Man futureshop
Thor kimichidvd
Thor HMV
Captain America HMV

What else is out there? I might say Dr Stange blufans or Thor 1 blufans?

I saw a list on there and it seems old. What are the rare ones that people would love to have and/or are expensive to have?

I see several of the best buy exclusives are are (antman 3D etc)

What would you add to the list?

Who cares? Buy what you like. It doesn't matter how rare a thing is if you hate it. If you really just want to know what you can resell for a profit, go look for yourself on eBay.

Now that was a total waste of space on this thread. It was meant for pure information. Sometimes steelbooks are bought not because of the movie but how it looks, how rare it is.

A steelbook is considered rare if it was once in your shopping cart and then vanished.

If you want to go off most expensive listed on ebay right now it's Film Arena Wolf of Wall Street for $2,999.99. After that it's Japan T2 for $1500.

It's my understanding (From FACs info page) that they priced it at that because it is a special gift for their version of VIPs that buy all FACs.
They wanted to list it but not actually sell it.

I've seen HDMI cables for that amount too. Most of the time place holders.

Wait, the Terminator 2 black cover from Japan? I have a T2 steelbook that says Version 2.0 on it, is it the same?

Added: I went on ebay and saw the Terminator for $1500, I have the exact one. Geez I got it as a gift some years ago and watched it once and packed it away.

Film Arena Wolf of Wall Street could definitely count as the rarest steelbook. They made 101 of them and you couldn't buy it. The only way to get it was to have every other Film Arena release.

Here's one that sold in March on ebay for $1,274.69 through auction.
