So just to confirm the 2.0 Tweak is 20, -10 instead of 20,-5, is that it, any other change? Will try it now. Thank you!

3D Depth (20) & 3D Viewpoint (-10) which covers the entire (100%) parameter-processing range, as shown in the picture below:

And be sure to Re-set 3D Mode to Auto Mode before you exit Picture-Settings as shown:

I did that above last night with Black Panther and I didn't really see any more depth or 3D... actually, it kind of hurt my eyes... or made my eyes strain. Not sure what I'm doing wrong but had to go back to default. On default... on my set anyway, the 3D is really strong and changing the 3D settings to the extreme really didn't do much for me. It was pretty much the same except for the small eye strain I was experiencing.

Interesting. Perception is a personal experience. Your description of the 3D you see describes what I experience when the OLED is in 3D-Manual Mode that is set at the maximum values..
Auto Mode corrects all the anomalies for me and makes the depth layers visible and distinct-in-space.

Suggest you experiment with a conservative 3D feature like "The Nightmare Before Christmas" conversion. I really enjoyed the dimensional changes adding additional stimulation for the senses from when 3D mode settings were defaulted.

yeah.. I'll definitely have to try out some of the lesser 3D titles. I think Black Panther was already strong 3D to begin with.

One thing I wanted to was able to pause a scene in 3D but when I do, it goes flat for some reason until I hit play again. If I can pause a scene and mess with the 3D settings, then I can tell if it's better or not.

Paul.. that reminds me, what are your Oppo 203 settings when doing the 2.0 tweak? I wonder if that has anything to do with it or not.

Double check when the 3D is active on the LG display for your specific HDMI component input connection, as the LG E6 switches to separate sets of settings for each type of content for each HDMI input, so you'll need to be viewing 3D content while trying to view/change those settings:
Tweak 2.0 settings:
Picture" (3D Settings/Picture)
3D = ON
3D Mode = Auto
3D Pattern Recognition = OFF
3D Color Correction = OFF
Normal Image View = OFF
3D Image Correction = Left/Right

I tried this on my ancient lg 42LA670 passive set- forgot to change it to auto though.

It had insane popouts, but changing the viewpoint so much caused the viewing area to minimise - I negated this by selecting zoom in aspect ratio , which gave me a full screen of fantastic pop out, like the scene with the birds and the feather floating was well into my living room- but I got eye strain pretty quickly too.

Will try again later with auto set to on.

On the oled does the screen size change when you alter depth and viewpoint?

just tried it on a customer return at work, oled 55EC930 LG full HD only, looks good

Auto Mode stabilizes Screen size adjustments using Tweak 2.0.

Yup!
5 year guarantee, supposedly faulty so was returned for a crap 2d 4k one so this will be sold as a clearance tv.

Crazy! Hopefully it will go to a fellow 3D lover. It's only 1080p, but it still produces a beautiful 3D picture.

Tweak 2.0 processes any 3D input source.

Tweak 2.0 calibrates the LG 3D OLED display for optimum z-plane performance. The cpu in the 3D OLED has full capability of recognizing available z-plane information present in a source and where 3D Auto-Mode can correctly resolve what is present.

For Black Panther I would agree, I didnt aee much difference between my LG and my old Vizio 3d wise.
The tweak really works the best with a mild-medium 3d movie, like say Star Trek Into Darkness. Really added a lot to the presentation for that. Strong 3D wise it did make Dr Strong even more impressive then it already is.

Black Panther and Doctor Strange are my current 3D strength-bar standards. And I find that daily viewing of 3D media is a major therapeutic exercise for my binocular vision therapy needs.

Regarding Black Panther, which by default already has an elaborate amount of visual depth, I find that z-plane-optimization from calibration produces, what I call "layer prominence", where flatness of-the-ground actually extends the visual ground-layer through the z-plane (inward/outward), seen as visual, noticeable, physical-matter that has substance that can support gravitational weight.

A good visual example of skillful z-plane manipulation producing "layer prominence" i.e. The observation of physical ground-matter going inward, is from a The Nightmare Before Christmas 3D, scene: Jack begins to walk on the flat-portion of the spiral hill having a moon-highlight.

Bad news on the oled 3d front.

Just had tv engineer guy on phone about a customers e6 tv, lg have told him the replacement panels are now non 3d

All i will be able to do is say sorry and he gets back a repaired but inferior tv

Cant replace it.

If i was him taking a settlement for it and buying preowned would be the only option.

They are huge 3d fans too.

I don't have a LG set. I also fear what will happen if my 3D set goes out.
I am hoping someone, somewhere will manufacture 3D sets again. I'd pay a (slightly - not double) higher price for the 3D feature.

Here is to the visionary manufacturer out there - BUILD IT & THEY WILL COME.
