I have a PSVR, it's just not as sharp and colorful, and only I can watch. Usually our whole family enjoys 3d together. Looks like they are sending me an E8 after I complained, and I get to keep the messed up E6. Will maybe mess around with the connection to see if it helps. Will probably keep the E6 for 3D with a line, because it's better than no 3d. Will keep my eyes open for a used one, but not holding my breath unfortunately. Hope everyone else's 2016 LGs last longer than mine did.

Worrisome news 3D friends...
My beloved C6 has developed the begins of some kind of screen issue. I was watching something last night and noticed a bright white 'spot' that was stuck. After looking closer, I saw that the 'spot' fell on a faint grey vertical line. Then I notice a second faint vertical line just over 3 inches away... I closed everything out and ran the Clear Screen Noise maintenance function overnight. In the morning, the bright white spot was gone...but the two faint vertical lines remain. They're not visible from the couch, but can be seen up close without too much trouble. They are most visible at the top & bottom of the screen and then fade out in middle. Overall, it could be much worse...but I'm afraid this is just the beginning. If things gets worse eventually, I will 100% try to repair through LG (if they can). |

In my case, it was useful for clearing a stuck group of pixels (but that's it). I'm not running it anymore than needed, as I've heard it's hard on the TV. |

Unfortunately, the LG OLED's are a panel lottery. Thankfully, I lost the lottery in the first 3 weeks after receiving my E6. LG still had replacement panels at the time. The replacement panel is still going strong 2 1/2 years later.

Is there a section on this forum that would be suitable for selling a C6 55 inch? I picked up a 65 inch from craigslist and my beloved 55 has just been sitting alone for a while, I should sell it really. Very low on time hours and zero screen issues (I would know, the 65 inch actually has a few issues but I've learnt to live with them as I love the increased size).

My LG OLED65E6V has a new firmware available: 05.30.80.
I didn't install it yet... First I have to make sure it doesn't do anything stupid. ![]() |

They wouldnt even replace the power board when my old set went last year. Thankfully I got a used later model for less than repair would have cost.

![]() ![]() I made it into the OLED club. I found a local guy selling an OLED55E6P and got a really got deal on it earlier today. Me and my wife really wanted an OLED before they had killed off 3D at the time but it just wasn't in our budget. We ended up going with a Sony XBR55X900C which is also 4K and passive 3D and just as thin as an OLED. There's so many different settings for the 3D on this new set I'm trying to figure out what other OLED owners have found works best. The original owner had set it back to factory settings so I'm starting from scratch here and don't want to be underwhelmed with the first 3D viewing. I'll try reading through all the pages here and see what others have posted for their settings. I saw there's some info in the first post I'll check out first. |

If anyone wants to chime in, please do as I'm interested in best 3d settings. Over on avforums, a site I really respect, one of the reviewers recommends an oled light of 25 for ISF dark setting, so to go from 25 to 100 seems massive. |
