Hey!
Essentially my first exposure to hindi cinema was Krrish, so I have a special place in my heart for all three of them. However, I immediately hit a snag in my quest to add them to my library. Only Krrish 3 seems readily available, and I can barely find signs of the Krrish blu ray having even existed. It's listed on this site, but in the wild I've literally NEVER come across it. From what I gather, Koi Mil Gaya was never released on blu-ray. So my broad question is, does anyone have any suggestions or info about how to purchase these? Is there any buzz, or even possibility, of re-releases? Maybe when Krrish 4 nears? Are re-releases common at all for hindi franchises? Does anyone know for a fact whether there actually was a blu ray release for Krrish in the first place? Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks! |

Only Krrish 3 is released in BD, other two are DVD only unfortunately. Given how rare for catalogue titles getting BD treatment in India, its very unlikely we see them in bluray. All three are available in HD in Netflix if that helps.

Not at all. In fact the only time I remember a movie was paired together with the sequel(s) was the Dhoom 1&2 pack and even there I suspect they only packed in existing BD copies of Dhoom 1.

Thank you for the replies, everyone! Sorry for MY late reply to this in turn. If I can get Krrish from that link you provided, rs3771, I'll be overjoyed! It really seems too good to be true, given that it shows up in no other searches, including second hand copies on Ebay.

I sent an email to Movie Time Video, and the listing for Krrish was incorrect. They told me it's out of print and unavailable.
So deep sigh. I'll prolly never be able to own all of them on their respective best formats. |

I dunno what "modern" DVDs are like, if maybe they're less of a grainy muddled mess on a new TV than, like, my old TV blu rays of 24 or whatever, are. I've yet to see what the Koi Mil Gaya DVD is like, but there's no getting around buying the DVD version of that movie, obviously. Anyhoo, I sent an email to that seller. Let's see if the listing is correct. |

I couldn't believe my eyes.
I frequently do a stab in the dark search for Krrish on blu ray because I just want it so badly, and a couple of days ago I turned up a result. Aum Entertainment, an Amazon seller, had two in stock allegedly. I ordered one, still in disbelief, and today it was apparently dispatched. Until I hold it in my own two hands I prolly won't believe it's true, but in the meantime, here's the listing. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I hope to get a hold of a good DVD release of Koi Mil Gaya because the one I got was watermarked so badly I can barely focus on the movie. So glad I managed to (maybe) get a hold of these. They still occupy such a special space in my heart! |

I was right not to believe my eyes in the previous post. I did receive a copy, but it was scratched BEYOND BELIEF. Like someone had sat on it and rode down a concrete slope. Miraculously it booted up, but immediately spazzed out, displaying a disturbing mixture of Hrithik themed blocky artefacts.
HOWEVER! *dramatic pause* I have acquired my unicorn. A listing showed up, completely unassuming looking, on ebay. 4 bucks. Shipping here was nearly 30 bucks but I leapt at it anyway. I have it. It's "used", but in pristine condition. It plays. I watched all of it immediately. I have it. I FINALLY HAVE IT! Which puts my life at 98,6% complete. I now need a decent version of Koi Mil Gaya. I ordered a DVD version but it's atrocious. Which leads me to my actual question for you guys. Which is the best DVD version of Koi Mil Gaya? |
