I have a feeling we will be getting more characters in the coming months. More rumors for Sektor/Cyrax, Ermac, Reptile, Ashhra, Sareena, and supposedly Kronika will be playable. All just rumored, but I can strongly see them adding Sektor/Cyrax and Ermac/Reptile, only because two are already there, just needs updated, and the other two are big fan favorites, and the game will be supported for another year or so.

so yeah i picked this up for ps5 late last month and have been playing it a lot. haven't had this much fun with a fighting game since... street fighter 3rd strike probably. considering i havent played a mk game since mk3, i got used to the dial-a-combo pretty quick. i prefer the way inputs work in this more than traditional japanese style fighting games.
started ranked this season with skarlet, but i'm mostly playing as sindel now. master rank ![]() |

Okay, so was there no U.S. release for the physical PS4 version of "MK 11 Ultimate"? The original press release stuff when it was first announced implied there was gonna be one, and it even had its own Amazon item page, but to this date there's been nada and on eBay all the copies of PS4 versions are of foreign editions.
Any way to confirm this? Digital only for PS4? I'm not planning on getting a PS5 for, like, a year or maybe even two more (price goes down, black slimmer version is released, and I finish playing my backlog of PS4 games) and I prefer physical media so this is kind of obnoxious especially since it seemed like a physical release was promised. |

Seems to be $50 right now. The aftermath kollection went on sale black friday for $30, and you could add a $15 pack to get you up to the same product for $45. A couple of weeks later, the next gen versions for PS and Xbox went on sale for $30. I grabbed the Xbox one because it will work on the old and new Xbox. PS has two different versions, so the Xbox version was a no brainer. If you can wait, it will probably drop to $30 again. Best of luck. Last edited by Memnoch; 02-16-2021 at 06:39 PM. |

Finally got around to buying this on the PS4, Ultimate Edition. Is anyone else annoyed how game developers kind of ruin fighting games as sequels go on. They should have left the play styke at MK9 or X on some level. Everytime a fighting game sequel comes out they feel they need to add more and more technical bs and end up making the game way too complex. Still working on all the tutorials and get stuck sometimes.
MK9 was fun as hell and I owned as Smoke but this game went too far I think. Like they tried too hard to make it technical and "deep" I guess you could say. Then again, maybe I really just need to get back into the swing of things. Reflexes aren't what they used to be at my age. Hahaha Last edited by Hellraiserfan; 02-21-2021 at 12:38 AM. |
