I have an original droid from 2014. Its time to upgrade. I'm also with Verizon if that matters.

How long until 5k comes out?

i've had both the iphone and a galaxy (my current phone).

i had the iphone 6+ (and the 3g, 4, and 5, before that) and i currently have the galaxy s8+. i like both the iphone and the galaxy. but i like the galaxy just a little better.

there's nothing wrong with the iphone (that i've found). and i never had any issues with any iphone i had; aside from when i dropped my 6+ and the screen separated from the back, but that was my fault and the phone continued to work flawlessly despite that happening. granted, i haven't used any of the versions after the 6 since that was the last one i had. so i can't give any true up-to-date information regarding any of the new ones. but from what i've heard from people that own them (my sister and youngest niece being 2), they like them.

but one reason i got away from apple and went to google is due to both wanting something different and the price. my galaxy was about the same price is my 6+. and it was almost 4 years newer then the iphone. i've never had any issues with it, either, whether it be software or physical (i use otterbox defender cases for all my phones).

What do you know about the pixel 3? Someone at work said to get a pixel. I don't think any of them justify there prices.

haven't ever used one...or even held one....or even seen one in person.

the 5G galaxy s10 is being released march 29th....if you need 5g, id get that...otherwise, id get the s10 or s10+

I'm in for a new upgrade plus i want to change service currently on AT&T but looking into going over to T-Mobile most likely and phone option's are either Iphone XR or the Galaxy S10 looking for the best and cheapest option's too.

Yeah, i'm more leaning towards that too plus it's easier to transfer contacts, photo's and apps over with the transfer app on android too.

Bumping an old thread. Any thoughts on Google phones like the $350 Pixel? Coming from a 4 year old Samsung that's getting slower and has several screen cracks. Kind of tired of leasing phones and am thinking of just buying one.

Also, how is the experience of going from a more traditional carrier to a pre-paid plan?
