I like the way Mayhem is being treated now. Sure, some guns have been nerfed and others have been massively boosted (i.e. Lob)

I don't think any new items were added to the Mayhem 2.0 update. At the same time that his was launched, they did also launch the Cartels event which had many new items:

I platinumed Borderlands 2 last week after years of on and off playing. I was looking forward to Borderlands 3, but wasn't in a rush to get it... but I've recently learned that a lot of people really hated the story for #3. The gameplay and engine appears nicely refined at least. I decided I didn't care about spoilers and looked at what happens in the story... and wow, it's honestly so bad after the build up of Borderlands 2 (and to an extent, Tales From the Borderlands). Anyone else not enjoying the story but still the gameplay? I heard even the farming for rare weapons through raid bosses aren't that good either.

Story was ok, its very hard to get into the calypso twins because they are just more annoying then anything, gameplay is still really fun at times I was very annoyed though because of the forced platforming at times no matter how I jumped my character didnt want to make it to the next area, map design is also very confusing at first because of the multilayers of it, and to answer the raid boss question the game didnt launch with one wohan i guess can be considered one but he didnt come out until the takedown of maliwan black site, dlcs havent even added any raid bosses, end game is pretty shallow unless you want to farm graveward a 1000 times mayhem mood is also really unnecessary because most of the time you dont get drops at whatever mayhem mode you are on, also you dont even need to play uvhm because of the levelling system I got all the trophiesand platinum way before any of the dlcs came out and I didnt even after replay anything.

As bryanr1213 said the story was ok. The twins were just annoying. My main problem was that by the time I finished the story they started nerfing everything. I farmed for all these cool weapons and they became garbage after an update. Then, after I got my platinum the game became pointless to keep playing because of the same reason. Acquire a good weapon and the next thing you know it gets the nerf hammer.
