Huge Borderlands fan, but not buying this until i check out the comparison at Digital Foundry to how the Pro version faces off against the 1X version. Got both machines, but a fairly mediocre PC, so we'll see...

Amazon had my shipping delayed for over a week. I reached out and the customer service wasn't super helpful, in my opinion.

I cancelled my amazon and ordered it from BestBuy instead.

Before Borderlands 3 comes out, anyone on here still have Borderlands 2 on PS3 and can help me quickly take down Terramorphous?

lol It's a shame that the cross-save feature with PS4 doesn't unlock the trophies since it's a different trophy list for the Handsome Jack Collection. And recently all PS+ members got it for free lol.

I don't really understand how the cross save feature works

For people who have Borderlands 2 on PS3 and Vita, you can transfer your character through their cloud server and continue playing on PS4. But where as the PS3 and Vita share the same trophy list, the PS4's Handsome Jack Collection is separate and have to be earned all over again. I'm so close to that platinum though lol just never finished it up.

Amazon is dropping the ball on their pre orders lately....even though their webpage still says pre order now & get it release day with free 2 day prime delivery (I pre ordered on July 21) Amazon chat rep says it wont ship untill release date.(since I noticed it has not shipped yet) so i cancelled & reluctantly bought the digital on PSN...only becuse my friend in the Navy is free this weekend.

I'm having a blast playing through the originals at the moment (currently about 20% of the way through on B2). I didn't realize what I was missing even after having been told multiple times by friends that I really need to play these games. I'm trying to rush through B2, but man it's a lot tougher than B1. Really enjoying the Siren class so that'll likely be what I pick when I get to B3.

Yeah the second game solo was harder (and more annoyingly so) than the first. That's why it's taken me so long to try and finish everything lol and I got the game day 1 in 2012. My friends moved on to play it on PC at that time.

Not as tough as the boss fight at the end of the Pre-Sequel was. And from what I understand, multiple boss fights in B3 are as tough as that so solo is going to be a rough ride...

Ah I see, I never played the Pre-Sequel. And there's at least 1 boss in B3 that seems very cheap with his unavoidable electrified floors that can easily down you and kill the weaker enemies around you.

There hasn't been a game in 6 months I've wanted to play so I swallowed my pride and got the game despite being forced to use the epic store.

I've agonized over which character to use. I wanted to use Moze bc that lovely Tank Girl design but I already did a fully leveled Gaige and buddy characters get kind of squishy in end game content sometimes. Going with Amara because you can't go wrong with Sirens

She also has a deeper man voice. It threw me off a bit at first but now I don't pay attention to it.
