List of PS4 Games with DLC/Updates pre-installed on the disc

The Day One Edition of Dragon Quest Builders had a DLC code included (though I think it's expired by now).
Portal Knights also had a similar DLC Code (again most likely expired).
Assassin's Creed Origins also has some sort of DLC code included (I got mine used, so couldn't use the code).

DLC code vouchers included inside the game case can actually last a long time. Like the Tekken 7 DLC code for Eliza in Tekken 7 expires in 2099. Ni no Kuni II DLC expires in 2099 as well. Dragon Quest Heroes II voucher code expires in 2027. Batman Arkham Knight DLC Voucher Codes expire in 2025 despite being released early in the PS4 lineup. The Steins;Gate code for the bonus game doesn’t mention a expiration date.

So basically even if the game has been out for a long time, the voucher codes could still be useable. I think only the Pre-order DLC codes from like GameStop, Best Buy, etc. are really the only ones that don’t last a long time.

Thanks, added Portal Knight & Dragon Quest. For Origins, was it just the deluxe that had the code, or did the standard release have one too?

Added the pics for WD: Final & Minecraft S2, Batman: Enemy is still pending for approval by a mod. (I actually have several submissions that have been pending for close to a week now, no rejections though, not sure entirely what's up with that.)

I used to do the submission approvals for Blu-rays and DVDs on here for being a Contributor in those areas of the site quite a bit before the other Mods stripped my abilities because of differences in opinion on things and that they don’t like it when I disagree on something.

It’s basically when a Mod or Contributor feels like it. Like there isn’t a rush to accept or reject someone’s submission. It could be an hour, a day, a week or more before it gets approved. So basically with yours, they’re likely just being lazy. Though there might not be as many who work on the games as there are for movies and the few there are probably were not interested because there is no forcing them to do it just do it when they feel like it. Not the best way to handle it I know.

Yet they didn’t suspend or ban you for having differing opinions? Curious as to why they felt it necessary to take action.

I want things done my way and they want things done their way. So I would say no you’re wrong to those Mods and they will say I am wrong when I am not. So I would try changing it to what I feel is correct.

Example Viz Media titles have been Distributed by Warner Brothers since April 2009 but most releases are under Viz Media not Warner Brothers because face it Viz Media is the one releasing the Blu-ray and DVD not Warner who is only Distributing them. So some Viz Media titles are incorrectly listed as Warner instead of Viz and the Mods don’t want those particular releases to be listed as Viz.

Also sometimes some movies have the title kind of backwards like One Piece Film Z is read as Z One Piece Film on the cover but One Piece Film Z sounds better to me.

Another disagreement is the whole putting Anime titles as Foreign as well. I feel that putting Foreign works better on Live-Action movies and shows rather than Anime because if you’re going to put it in 2 tags as Foreign Anime might as well just say Foreign Animation. So my view is that instead of using 2 category tags, just say Anime since it’s only 1 and means the same thing. I’m trying to keep it simple. Plus Foreign Anime just doesn’t make sense to me.

I looked up an unboxing and it looks like the standard has a code for some pyramids (or something, not quite sure what it is). Thanks, I'll add it to the list.

Thanks, I actually just read about this an hour ago. Though I'm going to wait until release to add it just to make sure they don't recycle the old disc(s) & include a dlc code for Season 4.

The set actually has upgraded versions of all 4 seasons and is being released by a different company than the previous set so it's extremely unlikely that they are reusing old discs. But I understand wanting to wait for confirmation before listing it.

That's good to know. I went ahead & created an upcoming section and filed it under there. Once release approaches, I'll file it where it fits. Sometimes too the dlc will be on the disc but require an update to unlock. Kingdom Come re-release did this.

I bought the collection when Telltale shut down because I assumed that was it.

Now of course I have to get this.

I have played season 1 & 2 + 400 days on PS3 and Michonne on PS4. I'll plan to get this and then play all of them on PS4 on a vacation or something. Probably not the same vacation where I finally watch all of Game of Thrones.
