Lego Star Wars The Skywalker Saga

I don't know why they don't just stop playing games and release a Open Galaxy Lego Star Wars. They've already made Lego Universe so they have the capabilities. We need a Lego Star Wars game that incorporates Expanded Universe and emphasizes on the TRUE LIMITS of Star Wars as a whole: From the Old Republic to the Classic Clone Wars to the New Clone Wars to the Force Unleashed to the Yoda Chronicles to the Holiday Specials to Solo and Rogue One and the Mandalorian and Rebels and Resistance -whatever that is- and other things that I'm too ignorant to mention all while still including the 9 Saga films. And to those who might say "whoa, don't push it," WHY NOT??? Why not push limits?? Why not include Star Wars as a whole? Why not include an open world or sandbox battlefield type of game play where you and 14 other teammates fight up against 15 enemy players whilst being attacked by their Clone or Droid or Geonosian or Wookiee or Jedi or Sith army and armaments? Why not Battle against Durge or Phase II Captain Fordo or Roron Corobb or a Clone Commando as Duel Wielding Revan or Starkiller or Jek-14 or a Imperial Knight??? I have to say the most frustrating thing about buying a new Lego Star Wars is that I ABSOLUTELY KNOW they haven't even come CLOSE to reaching their potential. It's frustrating to see the technology and capabilities amongst other game series and franchises and that neither is being implemented by one of the greatest fan franchises of all time in one of their most popular fields. If this game is released and doesn't have -or at least isn't set up to have- AT LEAST 500 playable minifigures (including variations of characters of course) it will plain and simple be a failure of its own potential. I for one would be willing to wait longer for that kind of game and would be willing to sacrifice the memory storage for it.

Should also include:
-Expanded Universe Vehicles
-Open Space Multiplayer Vehicle Battles
-Completely Customizable Personal Minifigure (with available pieces from all characters and custom abilities like force powers and/or equipment)
-4-Player Split Screen

Disney/Lucasfilm was so secretive regarding The Rise of Skywalker, they weren't allowed to start working on those 5 levels until after release. They chose to hold the release of the game until it was entirely finished instead of making those levels DLC.

Any guesses on how long it takes to make 5 new levels of a Lego game? A few months? Late March, early April?

I really hope they decide to make some DLC for Rogue One and Solo.

There is a code supposed to be in Lego Star Wars sets coming out in the fall to use in this game. Saw picture on the Razorcrest Lego box on a Lego fan site

There was something like this for Lego Undercover. The set had a code on the license plate sticker that you put in at the police station garage to unlock a small *chase and vehicles.

This kinda doesn't make sense. With lots of companies doing work at home for their employees, they could do something.
Unless it's near the completion phase, and they need to render it?

I’ve almost finished up Lego Jurassic World with my kids and they’ve had a blast with it. We’ve just recently shown the kids Episodes I-VI and they’re really into Star Wars now. My daughter even said “daddy, wouldn’t it be cool if there was a Star Wars Lego game?” I don’t want to tell her anything about this game until at least a release date is announced.

So since each movie is getting 5 levels for this new game, it’s probably a safe bet that I could go ahead and buy Lego The Force Awakens while we wait, yeah? I wondered if the new game would just dump the entirety of The Force Awakens into it, but it doesn’t sound like that’s the case.

Yeah it looks like they're doing all new levels for this one and not just collecting everything from the past games. Lego TFA is really fun, and pretty cheap now too. I'd definitely recommend it to tide you over.
