That's simple:

Robin of Sherwood.
And Dark Crystal just after it.
Hoping for The Witcher to join them soon.

I've watched RoS it like twelve to fifteen times since 80s. GoT won't ever get second viewing.

The Maxx. Perfect adaptation of the comic book. I truly wish there were more than 13 episodes.

Black Mirror and, while I haven't seen it so I'm just guessing, The Mandalorian are scifi. Scifi and fantasy get lumped together often but they're not the same. The Walking Dead is borderline scifi, because it's medical and not magical.

On the poll I chose Buffy, and that's probably the best anyway and the one fantasy show I could rewatch forever and ever... but I watch a good bit of the others listed. Legend of the Seeker was good too and should have lasted longer, wish Disney would've put that out on BD.

My favorite of the list? Puella Magi Madoka Magica; while there's a lot of good and even great shows on this list, none have done what Madoka Magica did. It's one of the best genre deconstructions out there and truly creates a haunting and absolutely poetic story that takes its time in pulling the rug from under you to get to know the characters and then showcase the harsh reality of the situation. I'm not even a big fan of magical girl anime, but this series is more than a Sailor Moon clone and actually explores themes of depression, mortality, humanity, and Faustian deals. It's excellent. Now I prefer the movie versions of the story myself, but still doesn't change the fact it's a phenomenal story (especially since they don't cut out that much in the movie edits).

My favorite in general? Preacher; this over the top, violent, profane, excellent series adapts the comic respectfully while also making it work for TV. The characters are fun, unique, and iconic; The story is fresh and original; the satire sharp and hilarious; the action scenes are fantastic; and the cinematography looks great. It may not be perfect, but it's absolutely my favorite fantasy show.

Gotta be GOT. you cant just look at the failings of the last season you gotta take the whole story. that elevates it over the other good contenders here

Voted for Buffy, even if doesn't fit my strict definition of fantasy.
As for traditional fantasy there are a lot of miniseries I liked (some adaptation of Terry Pratchett's novels such as Hogfather and The Colour of Magic, or italian's FantaghirÚ).
But I still have to find the "real grat fantasy" tv series.

Started watching The Witcher and this is disappointing, poor directing, writing and acting.

I predictably voted for Game Of Thrones, it was amazing, but I haven't seen the last season yet. I think I've seen enough of Buffy, but fancy seeing Angel again (remember those book-like cases that it was first released in, with cloth lined slots for the discs so they wouldn't get scratched, all a thing of the past now). I haven't seen Carnivŗle, but I fancy it, I bought the DVDs a year ago, I just have to get around to watching it.
