Just found this on Variety from last month:

Variety has learned exclusively that the film will have a qualifying run in New York and Los Angeles on Dec. 11 with a wider rollout beginning on Feb. 12, which is the Korean New Year. The film will continue its expansion going into Oscar nominations, currently scheduled for March 15, 2021.

I expect the On the Rocks screener to become a fairly expensive EBay item if it doesn’t end up getting an official physical release (already have seen happen with some Netflix awards screeners).

I'm okay with digital 2 weeks after theatrical. Hopefully my theatre puts it on one of the bigger screens.

I’m interested in seeing this. It kind of hits home, my mom immigrated in the late 70s to rural Louisiana from Korea which is where I was born and raised. We were pretty much the only Asians in the entire parish.

I enjoyed it, but it wasn't as great as I was hoping. The young son definitely had more screentime than the father did.

Let's pray for a blu-ray release now.

saw this this morning over at Cinema Arts in Fairfax Virginia - what an excellent movie! I'm glad, that like Nomadland, this was shot in the 2.39 aspect ratio to really capture the environs and land they were living in and farming.
