No thanks on Ubisoft. Give me a new God Of War with KRatos vs Thor!

Great. Get Amon Amarth to chuck in a couple of songs for the game's soundtrack and it's good to go.

It’s Assassin Creed’s turn to go into morse myth. I guess it was only a matter of time, but I’m excited, especially seeing as it’s the team who made Origins, which I marginally prefer over Odyssey. I hope they come up with some new game mechanics after those last two though. Having the Eagle eye scout out enemies at forts, clearing them and then doing it over and over can’t cut it by itself forever.... though that’s probably what we’ll get a lot of. I plat everything in those games eventually, so aware of the repetition in these games. I’m Just waiting for them to take things to the next level though, whatever that may be. More engaging side content would be a start.

Hopefully they keep the roleplay aspects of Odyssey in Valhalla, i really enjoyed that aspect of it. Definitely a step forward. The combat is okay, and the Eagle-scouting isn't going to change at all. They've got to include the Battle of Stamford Bridge!

I actually found the complaints of the games being "Too long and too big" funny because AC games weren't exactly brimming with content and a big world but now apparently they're too big lol. So i guess maybe the variety of content is the problem being raised and maybe over time might get sorted and hopefully some of that is here.

These games are AC in name only recently it seems so i just enjoy them for what they are.

I found the end funny when they're like "Quick, put an AC reference in, we need to remind them it's not an original IP" and hence the hidden blade lol

I honestly don't know why Ubisoft didn't think a Viking IP wouldn't work as its own franchise. Make a sequel about them going to conquer new lands and so on. Maybe they even could have done a MP element to the game alongside the SP as a co-op and online only modes. Missed potential imo but i'm interested in the game.

Based on the trailer and the article over at Eurogamer, i'm rather looking forward to this. Looks pretty much like what i was expecting. I'd imagine we are going to get parity on both of the new platforms. Bring on the actual gameplay!

Great trailer but it is almost exactly like the first episode of Vikings on the History Channel. Except they added a hidden blade.

Ubisoft are serial offenders of the various editions imo. Just wait for the CE to tank and go onto clearance is usually the tactic lol

Ubisoft put their games on sale pretty quick, in months you could find their UE in the $20-40 territory

I might still jump on this one early to try a ‘next gen’ game at launch

Hope its not like odyssey. Love the series usually but that game just felt so empty. Would kill for more pirate shit since skull and bones may never happen
