I'm in! Love that there's a "Quint" after you as he's one of my favorite film characters. Only thing I would prefer is if there was a multiplayer mode where you would have to compete with other players for food, territory and survival.

I don't really like that they cancelled initial pre-orders and then raised the price by ten bucks. I'll wait til its on sale, just doesn't look like a $40 game to me but we'll see.

I'm enjoying it. Really not much a story but hopping around on a beach eating people never gets old.

Very repetitive and nothing amazing but fun in short bursts.

Enjoyed the game for what it is, though it's certainly redundant in stretches. However, I actually spent the time gathering all of the collectibles and sundry items only to discover the VERY last one had glitched out in my game, so I can't get the corresponding achievements. Very disappointing.

Patch to fix that is out next week.

That's good news. Where can I get info about the patches?

As for my particular problem, I'm kinda afraid I interacted with the landmark during combat and glitched it out of existence, rather than it just never being there to begin with. I know many people are reporting missing items in Dead Horse Lake but the one I'm missing is in Caviar Key. We'll see if the patch helps me or not.

Decided to pick this up today. From the trailers & gameplay I’ve seen it looks like some mindless fun I’ll enjoy.

It is a lot of fun if you know what to expect. I recommend waiting till the patch releases this week that address a good amount of stuff on PS4 including performance.

Im not sure if ill be starting it anytime soon, maybe just to check it out really quick so by the time I really sit & play the patch will be out. Right now im playing Bug Fables on Switch so that has my attention along with Xenoblade Chronicles DE(although I should probably get around to Tokyo Mirage & Caligula Effect first).

Fair enough. I am trying to finish up a couple of games before Last of Us P2. So playing Xenoblade Chronicles DE and Sakura Wars. I wish I waited to play Maneater after the patch. Will probably go back to it.
