Default Crash Bandicoot 4

Details for a new Crash Bandicoot game (titled It's About Time) have leaked. If the leaks are true, the game will be available for PS4 and Xbox One and is developed by Toys For Bob who worked on the Crash Bandicoot and Spyro trilogy remasters.

I'm really excited about this if it's true! And I hope it means that Spyro will be getting a new game as well.

Kind of late to be announcing something for this gen isn't it? What are they thinking?

I wonder if they are going to retcon the Wrath of Cortex? it may be like the Resi series where the real RE4 was Code Veronica, but then they called the follow up RE4.

I can't say I'm liking the new Crash and Coco designs. They should have just used the same models as in the N-Sane trilogy and CTR.

Cant say Im too sure about this. The remade trilogy was a real blast, but theres something about making a follow up feel just plain wrong, especially since theyre ditching the redesign of the characters for what appears to be no reason, and adding in all the new character levels and stuff, just doesnt feel like a natural fourth game that they seem to want to sell it as.

Oddly enough, it reminds me mostly of Twinsanity more than anything, which I remember liking a lot and doing new stuff with the Crash formula, so maybe Ill be wrong and it might end up being really good. Although standard retail price for something like this sounds a bit cheeky.

Agreed, it's definitely giving off the Twinsanity vibe. I'll wait for a price drop and for people to give their feedback before buying.

This looks really cool! Also, why is $60 a tough pass? It's a new game and experience. That's the price tag on new games.

To me it's not worth $60 is all. This screams "$30 on Black Friday" as well

Depends how the game is structured, if its essential built like one of the other three games in the remastered trilogy then youre getting a lot less of a game. The trilogy didnt even launch at full retail price from what I remember.

It will need to be, it's a requirement for newly submitted/released games.
Whether that just means a patched version I am not sure, perhaps someone could confirm

I was really young when the original trilogy of games were released so I don't know what they were priced but I'm sure they were the standard price of all new games at the time too? I don't think it's unfair, we're getting a brand new full fledged Crash Bandicoot game. By all means wait for it to go on sale, it'll happen eventually. Game looks like a lot of fun to me. Really looking forward to it!

Loved the remake(s) so will buy this for sure. But the 3 games were harder than I remembered them to be. Or I'm getting old. Had to cheat my way through the final bridge level

I'm beyond excited about this. Looks like it's faithful enough to the spirit of the original trilogy, whilst also introducing enough to feel fresh (unlike Wrath of Cortex, which was criticised for being derivative).
