Details for a new Crash Bandicoot game (titled It's About Time) have leaked. If the leaks are true, the game will be available for PS4 and Xbox One and is developed by Toys For Bob who worked on the Crash Bandicoot and Spyro trilogy remasters.
Source I'm really excited about this if it's true! And I hope it means that Spyro will be getting a new game as well. |

![]() Can’t say I’m too sure about this. The remade trilogy was a real blast, but there’s something about making a follow up feel just plain wrong, especially since they’re ditching the redesign of the characters for what appears to be no reason, and adding in all the new character levels and stuff, just doesn’t feel like a natural “fourth” game that they seem to want to sell it as. Oddly enough, it reminds me mostly of Twinsanity more than anything, which I remember liking a lot and doing new stuff with the Crash formula, so maybe I’ll be wrong and it might end up being really good. Although standard retail price for something like this sounds a bit cheeky. |

Depends how the game is structured, if it’s essential built like one of the other three games in the remastered trilogy then you’re getting a lot less of a game. The trilogy didn’t even launch at full retail price from what I remember.

I was really young when the original trilogy of games were released so I don't know what they were priced but I'm sure they were the standard price of all new games at the time too? I don't think it's unfair, we're getting a brand new full fledged Crash Bandicoot game. By all means wait for it to go on sale, it'll happen eventually. Game looks like a lot of fun to me. Really looking forward to it!

Loved the remake(s) so will buy this for sure. But the 3 games were harder than I remembered them to be. Or I'm getting old. Had to cheat my way through the final bridge level
