SHUDDER Originals on DVD

I'm assembling a list of SHUDDER Original Movies available on DVD. This excludes titles like Haunt, Mayhem, Better Watch Out, Revenge, etc that have streaming exclusivity on SHUDDER but did not debut on the streaming service.

Since their blu-ray releases are inconsistent and often BD-Rs, I stuck to DVD only.

Unless they change their minds, it looks like it will be.

The upcoming blu-rays of Prevenge, Blood Quantum, Terrified, and Z should all be pressed discs as well.

EDIT: So, not only is Scare Package a pressed blu-ray, but it will include the Joe Bob Briggs Last Drive-In episode.

Thanks. Wanted to pick up Boar & The Nightshifter, didnt know they were BD-Rs since this site or Amazon doesnt list them as such. Guess ill go with the DVD on those.

A good way to tell if a title is MOD or not is searching it on deepdiscount.com. It’ll say under the movie title if it’s manufactured on demand. Looks like Cursed Films is pressed. Cannot wait to get that in the mail.

I'm not sure what happened with Christmas Presence, if maybe they sent it out of print and are re-releasing it for the holiday, but a DVD release is up for pre-order on November 3rd.

I'm leaving it where it is, as it'll be on DVD either way.

Many Shudder Originals have Blu-rays in other territories - sometimes including more extras, so it’s worth looking a film you’re interested in up.

Tbh I think this should be in the main Blu-ray section or the board, listing the DVDs at the bottom.

I thought The Beach House (2020) was one of the better Shudder films I've seen. In fact, I'd wouldn't mind seeing a blu-ray release of that film.

When I made the thread, their releases were pretty much DVD only with BD-Rs for order online. So it made sense to put it in the DVD forum. It seems like they are finally stepping up on the blu-ray front going forward.

Ive noticed that the Walmart store has been getting alot of these new horror movies from Shudder since last month for DVD.

The new "Z" ive heard its pretty good from some youtuber recently. My opinion, all these Shudder horror movies look like they belong in a Blockbuster video store

Downrange is one of the few I've been waiting on, so of course there's no blu-ray. Hoping Lake Bodom will happen soon!

I just picked up the furies for one of my 31 days of horror so I haven't checked it out yet. Maybe someone can give me some insight. Cause almost every shudder movie is at walmart but in dvd format. And someone said he'd rather pick up the dvd instead of the bd-r blu. And I know burned disks are prone to being problematic but isn't the Blu in 1080p vs 480p on the dvd . Even if it's burned I think I'd rather have a higher picture quality. I have a few bd-r movies and they haven't given me any problems as of yet, any insight would be appreciated
