Would I be better off getting SEGA Genesis collection for PS4 or getting a Genesis Mini? How's the emulation quality on either one?

I have the Genesis collection on the Switch, and I have a little input lag.

The Sega Genesis Mini console is not enough to shell out $60+ dollars for when I have most of the same exact games for my PS4 in the Sega Genesis Collection PS4 disc, which also works for the PSVR in stereo 3D for the game room but not actually the games. 1080p on PS4.
