They are right.... AT&T is great where I am. I have not dropped a single call or had my 3G drop at all while I was surfing or any kind interuption whatsoever. My Verizon friend is always griping about such issues here. It all depends on where you are.

I hate that the iPhone has zero support for Adobe, especially when considering Adobe and Apple is like peanut butter and jelly. It's a total WTF? just like the inability for the phone to send and receive MMS. Thankfully the latter will be addressed in the update...two years later...

I know but something along the lines of the Nokia Internet Tablets but with Bluetooth and a smaller form factor. Then free wifi nation wide and we are done.
I know you can do it on the iPhone but I don't want a plan. |

Cisco has them for hospitals and some college campus'. I want the best of the tablet PC in a formfactor that fits in my pocket that can make calls.
It would rock. Cheap too since you wouldn't need to pay monthly and less power consumption because the chip won't always be on for the cell network. |

I'd like to have a the option for video, but it's not critical to me. Having video playback via MMS is more important, since my wife sends me clips of the kids on occasion.

Like some people, I rarely use my phone only text and voice, but when I got an iphone, I couldn't resist all the features. Love the iphone and the cons are not that big of a deal for me.
Some of my cons: -battery life -no video cam I guess this could be either a Con or Pro: a little iphone story. There is some sort of app that a friend used on her iphone and she was able to detect where her husband was (husband also has iphone) after supposedly leaving late at night for work, which was rare. Long story short, she tracked his location with the iphone and called him and told him to come out of his mistresses house while she was outside waiting. |

love my iPhone. I just wish it could do one more thing. Sync iCAL subscriptions with my Macbook Pro. It can sync stuff I put in, but not sync stuff I subscribe to, like work schedule

i love my iphone
i unlock/jailbroke my iphone to work on T-Mobile network i pay 85/mo (with tax) for 1500 minutes, unlimited internet, unlimited text & free nights & weekends. youd be a FOOL to go with AT&T and get a plan paying 125/mo just to be on their network i have an hd camera for video so i could care less about shooting blurry videos to my phone |

I too have an HD camcorder but I would hate to carry it everywhere I go and sometimes you just have to capture a short clip of something happening. Another feature but not really iphone related more of ATT, the data feature does not include text. Text is another separate charge. I say include it in the data feature.

WiMax > 3/4g
It's coming. Personally though, EV-DO > GSM I've always loved the CDMA based systems over the GSM networks even though you don't get the same overseas abilities. The only markets outside the US that really use CDMA based networks are Canada/Mexico/Japan/Korea. Any phone from DoCoMo > iPhone. |
