Instructions on how to redeem UV Codes from a different Country

So as not to re-invent the wheel, FilmFanSam did an awesome job outlining how to redeem UK UV Codes in the US HERE.

This post is how to use an HTTP Tunnel to mask your IP as any country, for use in another country. i.e. Redeeming Canadian UV codes in the US, US codes in Canada, etc.

Step 1: Download HTTP Tunnel Genius HERE
Step 2: Find an IP for the country desired from their IP list HERE
Step 3: Open the App. Go to the Settings tab. Select Custom Tunnel Proxy. Put the full from Step 2 into the box (i.e. 184.107.159.155:3128 for Canada). Select Apply.
Step 4: Open Firefox (app was designed for use with). Open the Menu and select Options. Open the Advanced tab, select Network, and open Settings.
Step 5: Note your existing settings and write them down if necessary. Select Manual proxy configuration and fill out the HTTP Proxy and Port with the address from Step 2 (i.e. Proxy 184.107.159.155, Port 3128). Hit OK then OK to save the settings.
Step 6: Load the website and start redeeming.

You can also do this via the 'Hola Better Internet' extension on Chrome Browser. Very easy and intuitive to use.

1) Install the Hola Better Internet Extension from Here -> https://chrome.google.com/webstore/d...lmeio?hl=en-US

2) Once installed, click on it and enable it (don't select country yet)

3) Open a new tab and go to the Flixster redeem url

4) Click on Hola and select the UK flag (if redeeming UK code in USA)

5) The Flixster page will automatically reload

6) Enter your code to redeem

I'm not sure why you are upset. But if you maybe spent a little time looking into the steps I posted instead of being upset, UK was just an example, you could select from many other countries (from Afghanistan to Zambia). Also with the steps I posted and if you have Netflix subscription, you could watch Netflix content from different countries.

I was only trying to help with alternatives. If you still feel I have stepped on your toes by posting information that I thought would be useful, then let me know and I will try get the moderators to delete my posts from your thread.

Reviving a long dormant thread here.

I recently scored a French box set of Game Of Thrones S1-6 at Goodwill. It still has the French code but of course it won't redeem in the US. I was unable to get it to work using some VPN add-ons but that was on my phone. I haven't tried the above tricks on PC yet. Just wondering if anyone has a good way to do this for a French code? The instructions say to redeem through Warner Bros but I was unable to find a site that would allow it.

Try tunnel bear on your phone or pc. I've used that a few time to redeem french and German codes.


The problem you are going to have is you'll have to use flixstervideo to watch it.

Thanks for the info. Sounds like it's not worth the trouble if I have to watch it on Flixster.

does anyone know how to redeem UV warner bros. digital codes ? i have the 5 movie clint eastwood - dirty harry set and i've tried redeeming right through WB redeem site and no go... so was wondering if anyone had another method to redeem it. would really not like to see this wasted if it can be helped. thanks !
