The work I drew at the age of 36 will celebrate its 40th anniversary. It's just a comparison of numbers, but it feels strange.

The fact that "Fist of the North Star" is still being read 40 years later may be a reward for fighting the pain of childbirth and writing while crying.

That said, I didn't cry much, and the one who cried the most was probably Hara-sensei. By the way, the person in charge never cried!

I just want to thank all the fans for their support over the past 40 years.
