I think it's worth noting that while the Doan's Island movie is indeed a remake of the 15th episode, it appears to feature at least some characters and other details that are revealed later in the original series.

Does that mean you need to watch more? I don't really know, haven't seen this movie. I would imagine the original movie trilogy is a safe bet but the whole series is on crunchyroll. Based on one particular thing I noticed, I would recommend getting to at least the mid 20s.

GKIDS Screens Evangelion 3.0+1.01 Film in U.S. in December

GKIDS announced on Wednesday that it and Fathom Events will screen the Evangelion: 3.0+1.01: Thrice Upon A Time (Shin Evangelion Gekijō-ban :||) film in Japanese with English subtitles in U.S. theaters on December 6, 8, and 11. Anyone check out Goodbye, Don Glees? I was looking forward to it since I loved Antarctica Girls but it ended not being as great as I hoped. It had some emotional stuff and was alright but nothing amazing.

Crunchyroll to Release The Quintessential Quintuplets Movie in Theaters [UPDATED]

Fans of the Nakano quintuplets will get to see the thrilling conclusion of the series soon as Crunchyroll will release The Quintessential Quintuplets Movie in theaters globally (excluding Asia and the Middle East) starting October 31! The movie will be available in both English dub and subtitled releases, with more information available on the movie’s official website.

Release dates and territories for The Quintessential Quintuplets Movie include:

October 31 in Italy (as a special event screening)
November 3 and 4 in France (as a limited release)
November 18 and 19 in Spain
December 1 in Australia and New Zealand

Negi Haruba began The Quintessential Quintuplets manga in Weekly Shonen Magazine from August 2017 to February 2020, running 14 volumes. Kodansha USA releases the English language edition of the manga. The first season of the anime produced at Tezuka Productions aired from January to March 2019, with the second season produced at Bibury Animation Studios airing from January to March 2021. Crunchyroll streamed both seasons of the anime as they aired. The film was originally released on May 20 in Japan and earned $16.4 million at the Japanese box office.
