I already felt like Inception a rip off of both The Cell and Paprika anyways. I like Inception, but the lack of originality makes me like it less. Those two films are better IMO.

Interstellar ripped off Voices of a Distant Star but it did have the advantage of Matt Damon getting blown up.

Kind of amazes me that they still haven't begun to film it, but these usually end up in development hell. It's been 6 years now, so the iron is going to be very cold when it eventually comes out. Though the movie is going to struggle, the anime is too infused with Japanese culture to translate well into a live-action setting in America (where public transportation also is basically nonexistent, good luck making a train scene).
