How long would slipcover pressings last for Shout Factory's GKIDS/Eleven Arts Blu-ray releases? Let's say I wanted to pick up something from a while ago like Shirobako: The Movie (December 2021). What's the chance of still getting a slipcover after that long?

One of only two iDOLM@STER series we ever saw on-disc here, the other being Xenoglossia which is now long OOP. The 2011 series has international rights handled by Aniplex Japan so that's not going to come here. Cinderella Girls is handled by Anime Consortium Japan, so that should have been able to get licensed, but nobody grabbed it.

Good question, AllTheAnime has a 4K/Blu-ray CE available, I'm hoping for a standard release at some point.

I have a few questions for those who bought any recent Crunchyroll Blu-rays:

Did the first few Blu-rays with the new Crunchyroll label (i.e. Hetalia, BEM: The Movie) still have the Funimation logo? I remember that when Funimation Blu-rays first changed to the smiley logo, the first few releases still opened with the old logo before switching over.

How do the current Blu-rays open? I know that it's usually FBI Warning, sometimes additional licensor/production logos, Funimation logo, trailer, then the menu. How do the new Crunchyroll Blu-rays do it? I heard that they stopped putting trailers?

Do the blu-rays open with the swirly orange Crunchyroll logo on a black background, usually seen before new theatrical anime movies?

Trailers have been gone from releases since sometime in late 2021 so before phase out of the FUNimation brand, there's no opening trailer nor any in the extras. I don't own any 2021 releases except for both parts of Fruits Basket: Season Two so I can't pinpoint when they stopped with trailers, there weren't any on my 2022 releases. Commentaries also stopped happening around once COVID hit and never returned. The logo used is that 2022 one which was also seen on the theatrical releases of Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero and One Piece Film: Red (logo was red instead of orange).

Ok, thanks! I didn't even realize there was a red and orange version of the Crunchyroll logo.

When you're releasing a movie called One Piece Film: Red, you may as well make the logo red for it.

How good is Dragon Maid season 2 compared to season 1? I remember watching it a few years ago and thought it was pretty enjoyable. I need to know before deciding to shell out $50 for the Blu-ray. Before anyone says to just watch it on streaming first, the Blu-ray lists a 5.1 track, making me prefer to watch it on disc unless it turns out to be worse than the first season.

Enjoyable but not as good, on top of the source material not being as good and being a little too ecchi and thus being toned down, you have to remember some of the people who worked on the original were part of the tragic attack on Kyoani and well their replacements just can't be as good. And even though she is still around people like Naoko Yamada left Kyoani and didn't work on the sequel.
Overall though I'd say if you liked season1 you'll like this, same great characters doing the same things though the one new character does get most of the attention so if you don't like her that will drag it down for you.

Is Orange worth a blind buy?
I glanced through the synopsis, and would like to know if it has an ending?

Amazon.ca is having one of their rare anime sales, and this's one of the blind buys I'm considering. (Only planning to get one or two)
The other two blind buys I'm considering are Maken-Ki!: Season One & Dagashi Kashi: Season One, they're all around the same price, but I might just get B Gata H Kei: Yamada's First Time instead. (I've seen that before, but it's the cheapest out of all of them.)

It's a good show and does have an ending. I gave it an 8 on mal.
