So, I take it by virtue of this threads' resurrection folks have noticed that both "Kingdom" and "Labyrinth" are available at RS?
Not cheap, but cheaper..... ($120 usd ea.)

The Magi sets were listed under Right Stuf’s Last Chance Items as well as their clearance section before getting marked down for the Black Friday / Holiday sale. For now, it would appear both sets are currently OOP.

I rarely visit their website (because of the price) and I've never heard of fandom post.
I checked again because it was black friday.
I guess I lucked out with Kingdom.
I'll have to find Labyrinth now.

I also shared the info in the Anime Retail Bargains, Deals, & Sales Thread and the Aniplex of America Thread. I wasn’t aware either Magi thread existed. The last posts before today were each made back in 2017 and 2019 respectively.

The Magi sets were under last chance for awhile (since at least this summer and another user mentioned one previously went oos and came back) and the sale was known to be coming. The one set did go really fast (I think within 12 hours of the sale going live) which is unfortunate but always a risk due to how AoA operates.

Are you willing to consider a region B release? The Kaze release from the UK/Europe is still available for a reasonable price.

You could get part 2 of the Kaze release for Labyrinth of Magic pretty cheap off eBay ($17-$18); copies of part 1 are more like $37-$40. Still, that's not much different than the cost of the Aniplex set you missed out on, so that's what I'd recommend, if you're looking for a solution.

Yeah, the $60 price is kinda crazy, but at least it is more affordable.

Fandom Post is essentially the successor to AnimeOnDVD, which was one of the biggest anime fandom sites in the 2000s, and has often had quotes from reviews put on the packaging of releases to market them. Fandom Post is unfortunately basically a ghost town these days, its most prolific user is WTK who I recommend following on at least Twitter @WTK where they're also active. I can't stress enough how much of a godsend WTK is to the fandom.

The two volumes of the Kazé UK release of Magi season 1 have been pretty cheap for over a year, same with part 2 of Kingdom of Magic, but part 1 has been unobtainium for just as long and is probably long out of print.

Same goes for the French release, which seem to share the same discs as the UK one. I've been trying to get a hold of Season 2 Part 1 for quite some time and usually there isn't even a listing anywhere, not even eBay.

The Labyrinth of Magic is essentially the first season while The Kingdom of Magic is the second.
