My only issue with Avengers 2012 and AOU is they are my least favorite Evans' Cap portrayals. I feel the Russos and Johnston both did Cap better than Whedon did.

Infinity War is decent, but it's a little too straightforward, and with no surprises.
[Show spoiler]Thanos says what he's going to do, there's a big fight, and he does it anyway.

Endgame had higher stakes, and has much more heart and emotion. The final shot of the movie always gets to me.

I prefer Infinity War to Endgame. IW is my favorite of the MCU and Endgame isn't even in my top 5.

I've appreciated more and more that they feel very different from each other despite being a 'Part 1'/'Part 2' double feature.

I like Infinity War more as well as an intense action film. Endgame was far more action-lite until the final battle, but it actually delivers very strong character and emotional stakes throughout. Kevin Feige should host a screening for Cameron, Scorsese and Coppola - I'm pretty sure they haven't seen these two movies based on their comments over the last few years.

With a combination of the pandemic, Phase 4 / D+ blahness and social media, this movie feels like it came out 10 years ago.

This is why I think Endgame is the greatest of all the Marvel movies and one of the greatest superhero films. Right up there with The Dark Knight.

and that final battle scene delivered. Captain America and Thor's hammer I mean the cheering in the audience was the loudest I've ever heard.

Recently. the audience was just as loud when Tom Cruise flies the "impossible" course.
