Which is why the OP says excluding mob films as those are likely to include such facets too … The type of films under discussion are shown through the list

The first film that came to mind, my mind, probably would not do so for anybody else posting here... "The List of Adrian Messenger" (1963), which involves a serial killer with a definite difference than most in terms of motive.

It's also way too early to commit crimes.

Most crimes I commit happen in the 1am-5am stretch.
