I'm one of a few but I kind of liked Age of Extinction. The Autobots have personality, Wahlberg is a more ideal lead than Labeouf, and the dinobots are so cool. Also Li Bingbing. It's certainly my favorite sequel, not counting Bumblebee.

Last Knight stinks though.

Is this supposed to be a sequel to the Shia LaBeouf/Mark Wahlberg films or is it supposed to take place during a different time? Doesn't Beast Wars take place like 500 years in the future?

It's set in 1994.

In the cartoon canon those characters came about 300 years after the Autobots/Decepticon war - but the Beast Wars took place on prehistoric earth, about 4 million years before the Autobots on the Ark awoken. So it's both the future and the past.

Rise of the Beasts is set in the 1990's but we don't know if the Maximals are from the future yet.

Kind of ruins the point of being robots in disguise. They still look like robots, just animal shaped.

I caught the Dinobot scene in TV the other day and it's still awesome.

In the Bayformer movies they had a robot that transformed into a human.

She didn't look robotic at all until the robot revealed itself.

Looks just as ridiculous as we've come to expect from the series, and more in line with the original movies than Bumblebee, for better or worse. But am I gonna see it? Yeah, for sure.
