This is crazy have at least 6 packages from zavvi which arrived is Sydney 4/11 and was on way to wa from 7/11 23 days later still nothing and no changes to tracking 27 days is a joke of a time to wait with it being in australia.

The reasons I read was due to floods and another was derailed train but come on 27 days.

I have even had more recent packages ordered after these and arrived I sent a quick message to auspost to ask what’s going on with no reply.

I know it’s the crazy time of year again but still no excuse being this late.

When you go through checkout Vat is removed so there go a few pounds ( 20% in fact as Vat is 20%) spend 100 pounds during sales and postage is free and if you sign up for 17 pounds per year you get a 15 percent off voucher for there holiday sales and some of the months prior plus a 10% off voucher each for the same sales, and a 10% off voucher to use all year round on almost anything and for the 12 days of Christmas they were sending out 10% vouchers simply for signing up to there emails... They make some of the best cellectors / ultimate editions of there products out of any company out there ( see the polystone book ends for full metal as an example) anime has gone up alot in price over the last few years so by cheaper prices elsewhere i would say you can't be talking about local stock..... Or tho i am aware of the 50% off select madman titles and the 30% off that stacked... And the amazon sale that passed but that was all old stock.. Just like discotek there are titles from al fr/ al that haven't been released in other regions on BD like "planets" about the only exclusive we got this past month that has everyone else in the world jelly is thst Sailor Moon boxset. Consolidation of all the anime companies probably hasn't helped with the prices along with the cost of paper but many of the prices were set prior to the mergers, im just hoping the crunchy expo comes to more states and has things worth paying to go to conventions again... Anime is better or worse than the years past pending on perspective i suppose

Nowadays, I don't buy enough from Anime Ltd, nor anime in general, to justify a subscription.

With the ones I'm after (mainly the classic titles), I usually have them on my wishlist in the hope that they'll be discounted at some point or a local version is offered.

Madman released a couple of Anime Ltd limited editions here. Hopefully they'll continue increase their effort.

Just looking at next week’s releases and I notice yet another TV series that will be Blu-Ray here, that has 4K releases in the UK and the US.

And everything is ‘exclusive’.

And yes ZAVVI AU doesn’t necessarily follow the UK one… that set has been out since May 22

However.. now removing Aussie customers from the UK store - whereas the other 'store fronts' still have access is either
- 1) a bug / error that has been missed or
- 2) purposely done to restrict items / deals etc

I recall their major f-up 2 years when they migrated all of the accounts / sites / orders - and for a week or so orders 'disappeared'.
