It seems the 28/10 shipment of Hot Fuzz and Shaun of the Dead are behind. No JB in WA has any copies Sanity had one copy of Hot Fuzz but at $29.99 as opposed to JB's and Kmart's $25.

Big update tonight! January seems to be filling out as I've added the Dennis Quaid horror/thriller HORSEMEN OF THE APOCALYPSE, as well as the John Travolta and Denzel Washington flick THE TAKING OF PELHAM 123. Both titles will be available to rent or buy on Blu-ray Disc and DVD from January 6. The sport drama FIGHTING, starring Channing Tatum and Terrence Howard, will be available the following day: January 7th. Sci-fi family flick ALIENS IN THE ATTIC will then hit store shelves on Jan 13th. Unfortunately, Finding Nemo, The Incredibles and A Bug's Life, which were due that same day to coincide with the BD/DVD release of Up, have seemingly slipped from the list (which many people expected, I know), but MONSTERS, INC. is a go and will hit store shelves on Blu-ray Disc (a must have for me) alongside Up on Wednesday, January 13. It's the following week though that seems to be gathering some titles with movies like THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA, DODGEBALL, LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE, M*A*S*H, ME, MYSELF & IRENE and THERE'S SOMETHING ABOUT MARY all slated to hit Blu on January 20. That same day, Fox will release THE SIMPSONS - THE COMPLETE TWENTIETH SEASON on Blu and the horror flick ORPHAN will finally be available to rent or buy on Blu-ray Disc and DVD.

... And last but certainly not least, MICHAEL JACKSON'S THIS IS IT seems to be getting an early BD/DVD release on January 25, not three months after having hit cinemas just last week. Don't be surprised if this drops from the list to a later date, although there were rumours that the film would hit U.S. shores by Christmas.

I've received a slew of Blu-ray release dates for upcoming films, including next week's disaster epic 2012, Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs, the Twilight sequel New Moon, Zombieland, and even The Book of Eli (which won't even be hitting Australian cinemas until February next year.

First off the list is the teen slasher SORORITY ROW. It'll be available to rent or buy on Blu-ray Disc and DVD from January 20. Meryl Streep and Amy Adams unite for the dramedy JULIE & JULIA, which will be available on both formats from February 10.

The computer-generated ASTRO BOY flick will be available on BD/DVD two weeks later on February 24.

The latest Saw film, SAW VI, will then hit Australian shores on Blu-ray Disc and DVD on March 17. The following week, on March 24, two massive blockbusters will be available to rent or buy on both formats: the disaster epic 2012, and the highly anticipated Twilight sequel NEW MOON.

Sony's family CG flick CLOUDY WITH A CHANCE OF MEATBALLS will be available on BD/DVD during the first week of April on April 7. The comedy ZOMBIELAND, starring Woody Harrelson will then be available on April 21.

They don't really give a reason. All they say is that they think it might have something to do with the U.S. release date. Even the Aussie DVD version has been slimmed down to a single disc instead of the previous 2 disc edition, which sucks even more. The DVD will still hit our shores on December 29.

I've been dropped with another load of Blu release dates.

Coco Avant Chanel, Halo Legends, Not Forgotten, Outlander and Stan Helsing will all be heading our way on BD and DVD on February 10. On March 3 we have Any Given Sunday, The Green Berets and We Are Marshall. On March 10, The Blind Side (which is a hit in the U.S.) and Whiteout will be heading directly to Blu-ray Disc and DVD (Whiteout was originally scheduled for cinema release until terrible reception and poor box office takings). On March 31, Free Willy 4 with Bindy Irwin and Beau Bridges, called Free Willy: Escape to Pirate's Cove, as well as Robert Rodriguez's Shorts will both be available on Blu-ray and DVD.
