They payoff is rather disturbing. Not much you can that wouldn't give it away. You can look it up if you want to spoil it for yourself.

I've seen countless numbers of cheesy horror films. This is one I've never forgotten.

"9," blind-bought the Blu-Ray from the local store. It is short and kinda slow-going in a way, but I enjoyed it anyway. I liked all the characters and the settings were interesting. It's a keeper (4/5; BD has wonderful quality too).

I loved it in the theater. Waiting for the price to move a little.

Czar. I aint much of a QT fan, but this flick was great. It's all about the dialog and fantastic performances. Well....the cinematography was awesome too. Oh...and so were the costumes and sets. And.... this is the first time (for me) that QTs blatant ripping off from other film makers worked for me. It was so intentional, that it was cool. Maybe I should go back and watch the old QT movies that I didnt like the first time.

I watched Public Enemies. I thought it was a great movie. I may be among the few who really enjoyed it. Watching a movie like this just makes you look up the bios on Dillinger and Baby Face Nelson, and the history. Good movie.

I've never seen the original, but I'm gonna go ahead and say that it's better.

Quantum of Solace - 8.5/10.

Not as good as Casino Royale, but an entertaining Bond adventure. Gives a good setup for a Spectre like organization, that in my hope beyond hope will give us another Blofeld type character if not Blofeld himself.

I found the original very unintentionally funny and silly (but it was fun, and I kinda liked it because of that ). QT's take on it reminded me more of "Pulp Fiction" with its dialogue and mixed-up plot structures. I've known a few people who hated "Inglourious Basterds" because of that, but I think it was brilliant, and beats the crud out of the old version.

It all depends really.

One could summarize this movie as 'Dances With Wolves meets the Smurf Cats'. But that's not really doing it justice. Having spent over a decade working on this picture, James Cameron's latest film and his first since Titanic has hit movie screens everywhere.

Jake Sully has a chance to step into his deceased brothers shoes and join the Avatar program on the far away planet of Pandora. His loyalty to the military soon starts to fade as he spends more and more time with the native population the Na'vi, eventually becoming one of them himself.

Cameron is a great director but only a mediocre script writer. All of the actors give one dimensional performances, although some of them such as Sigourney Weaver and Giovanni Ribisi still manage to stand out. Technically this movie is in a category all its own and will likely influence future films for years to come.

That said I wasn't blown away like I was the first time I saw Tron, Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within, or The Matrix. The 3D was neat although I felt nauseous for the first few minutes until my eyes adjusted. Maybe it was simply hyped to much because overall I felt slightly let down visually.

Yet despite that I still managed to thoroughly enjoy the movie. Avatar has horrible dialog, stereotypical characters, and a simplistic story. But none of that really matters as you will still find yourself enchanted by Pandora's beautiful world by the time the credits roll.

"Dr Strangelove," second time ever, first time on BD (which looked/sounded wonderful and I'm watching the extras now, which are fascinating). I didn't care for it that much when I first saw it, but this time around I enjoyed it a little better. It has many funny moments, and it is very well-filmed. Moreover, the themes about war and nuclear annihilation are strong and seems plausible even to this day .

It's a 4/5 from me.

Good read! I havnt seen either so I cant give my imput but I always hear how all remakes are worse than the OG so I was just curious! Got Em!!

It's hard to say. It's a payoff that will stick with you in pure shock. I would never buy the movie, but I would seriously watch it again (yes the acting is awful) but you will be missing out on an ending that will stick with you your whole life.

I took this movie on a ski trip with my girlfriend and some friend who have never seen it and they were completely shocked and grossed out by the ending. It's chilling and disturbing. They told me to never rent or show it to them again LOL.

True Romance 9.25/10

Got the 2 disc special edition on DVD over Christmas. I have seen the movie before and bits and pieces like a hundred times, but this is probably only the second time I watched it all the way through. You can tell Quentin's wrote this. It has his bizarre and funny humor all over it and violence. The cameos rock, especially Walken (who I wish would have been in it more) and Oldman. Great movie.
