I don't have the standard BD release but I've got the 3D/2D combo set (on one disc) as well as the 3-disc Extended set and they both played on my USA PS3, so I would say the standard BD set is region free.

Fox always used to have B on the back cover of region-free discs. It's always been very rare for them to actually lock anything.

Can easily find it and Extended Collector's Edition fairly easily, the B-locked discs is a shame though.

I got the super deluxe boxset with the film cel and all that for about 20 bucks a while back. Easy enough to find but someone overseas might have trouble sourcing it from any retail outlets.
