LOL!!! Power Pack? Now there's a throw-back!

I think Ka-Zar would be pretty cool, if everyone can forget Tarzan.

Wasn't there a Dr. Strange TV movie or something?

How about some Morbius, Iron Fist, Werewolf By Night, or Alpha Flight!

I think you are correct. I believe she would fall under the X-MEN Universe which Fox owns.

Actually I think with the dinosaurs and all I think it'd be a safe bet people wouldn't associate it with Tarzan I would think more Conan with dinos.

Out of the list, Id say Doctor Strange has the most potential.

Semi-off topic, does anyone know what happened to the proposed Moon Knight TV series?

I think this would work good as a straight to dvd/blu-ray kinda thing instead of the big screen...concentrate on alot of there lesser know heroes, like the ones that was mention before or even some of there top tier heroes on solo missions..

Which means they try to retroactively "clean up" her old movie/series limbo by cramming her into a cameo in one of the X-Men Origins movies.

...Whew. At least that one's out of Marvel's hands.

TOTALLY in for this. Hell, just make it a duo movie with Cage and this could be a great stand-alone flick. A crime fighting group comprised of a white guy with extraordinary martial arts skills (Ray Park) and a cock-diesel black dude who could rip a steel girder in half if he wanted to (Terry Crews)? What's not to like?

It is a complete mystery why no studio optioned those characters for a movie already. The movie could be made relatively cheaply and it hits all the right demographics. Someone like New Line in the 90s could have easily treated them like what they did for Blade, another unknown character outside the comics world before the movie hit.

Before it happened, I didn't see many people clamoring for an Iron Man movie when it was announced.

Wasn't Tyrese Gibson signed on to do a Luke Cage movie at one point? I would love to see a Cage/Iron Fist movie with Gibson and Park. That movie would be a lot of fun and you probably wouldn't need to have an obscene amount of CGI in it, keeping costs down.

Default Black Widow Spin-Off “Definitely Possible”

Quote:
There wasn’t much news that came out of the Iron Man 2 press conference today regarding the future of the Marvel movie universe. But one of the interesting bits was Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige in response to the question of if Scarlett Johansson’s character Natasha Romanoff aka Black Widow would be getting her own big screen movie spin-off:

Quote:
“Definitely possible,” said Feige. “Yes, absolutely.”
As you know, Johansson’s character debuts in Iron Man 2. But why make a Black Widow movie? Most fans were not happy when Johansson got cast in the role, over Emily Blunt, who was forced to drop out due to contractual scheduling conflicts. She might seem like the least interesting character in the trailers, but many people who have seen the film have been saying that she is one of the biggest surprises of the sequel.

Also, we do know that Johansson’s contract includes a role in the superhero team-up movie The Avengers and possible options for future films.
If she does a good job in Iron Man 2, I'll be all for it

Confirmation by the man himself. I love the way he says they never start talking budget. It's always story first

Quote:
MovieWeb got the chance to sit down with Marvel President of production, Kevin Fiege. Awesomely, they asked Fiege for more insight on upcoming films after The highly anticipated clash, Avengers.

"We haven't talked budget yet, we never start talking budget. We start talking story," explained Fiege. "But certainly we are looking at the next wave. We are going to do two films a year starting in 2011. What is our post Avengers film in 2013 or 2014? There are a lot of characters and meetings going on right now."

We continued by asking Fiege if the new proposed films would also take place in the "Marvel Film Universe" that has been created for the current line of movies?

"It could be both I would say. I'm not sure that we will always point out specifically that they do take place in this universe. But on the other side, I don't think we'll go out of our way to say they don't." He said. "For instance, Runaways probably is in this universe but they aren't going to be running into Tony Stark or Nick Fury. Nick Fury doesn't just show up in every room," Fiege joked.

We followed that by asking if it were possible that these films could exist in the "Marvel Film Universe" but not necessarily tie into the other movies?

"Yes. By the way, just like in the comics," Fiege replied.

Finally, we wanted to confirm the Marvel characters that the studio is looking at bringing to the big screen. In the earlier story one of the characters mentioned was Dazzler, a '70s disco-era character that can turn sound into light and was a member of the X-Men. Since the X-Men and all their characters are owned by 20th Century Fox we wanted to find out how Marvel Studios was planning on making a film based on that character?

"That's Fox. Yeah, I didn't see that (in the article). That's not us, unless Fox is doing it," answered Fiege.

We told Fiege about the other characters mentioned in the article including Power Pack, Luke Cage, Dr. Strange and Ka-Zar, to get his conformation if Marvel Studios is actually considering those characters as well for future films?

"All that is right except Dazzler," Fiege confirmed
.
