Lightbulb UV database/section

We have started up an UV database/section for info + so you can keep a proper UV collection:
https://www.blu-ray.com/uv/

If you miss any titles, then you can as usual add them through the wiki interface
https://www.blu-ray.com/products/?c=...ion=addproduct

Nice! I like collecting Digital UV copies.

Time to go to work.

Awesome! I typically only buy titles that come with UV or can be D2D and sometimes it's hard to tell if they will. This solves that problem and gives me a place to check for new titles!

I think it's only for titles that come with UV and not titles that can be D2D. It would be nice if there was a separate field that would show all titles capable of being used in the D2D program.

Yes, it's an UV database only, we'll have to add other types of digital movie databases separately.

I still think he means only blu-rays that come with UV code. However, I think it would be useful to have a separate category/list that has titles that are capable of D2D.

Oh... it looks like you are right:
http://www.vudu.com/movies/#!overvie...Bad-News-Bears

Then it should be in the database, really sorry about that

Very good question, we have also thought about this and so far there don't seem to be any standard for UV covers :/
It would be very good if they could standardize this, right now every site seem to use different covers, which is a bit confusing. We have so far not added any covers at all, but we display a small UVVU logo at the bottom-right so it's easier to distinguish it at least.

Is there a direct link where we can view our UV collection?

Will the UV collection number be added to the side bar on the forums under our username/avatar that shows the number of blu-rays, reviews, and etc?

Oops, that was supposed to be fixed already... should be fixed now
(You need to update your UV collection once for it to kick in).

Probably at some point, but right now we don't want to add any more stats using the current layout, since it takes up too much vertical space, check MaCruz for example

We should probably also add links to the sites where the UV can be used/redeemed, what sites are there: cinemanow.com, paramountmovies.com, sonypictures.com, vudu.com, flixster.com, universalhidef.com, any more?

Also in the near future are you going to add "UV" on the top of the page of the blue banner for searching purposes? It would be easier to locate UV movies like we have for DVD's or BD's. Thanks.

Great, that will be very useful to know when acquiring new titles!
