I had to look up the meaning of goddaughter:

A goddaughter is a girl who's the godchild of one or more godparents—people who have pledged to help with her upbringing, especially in a religious way.

So Indiana Jones knew about her the whole time? How can she be suddenly introduced ? Or is it someone else who pledged to help in her upbringing?

He has to have agreed to be her godfather, so he's known about her since she was a child.

No doubt there are many people in Indy's life we haven't heard of before. I can't imagine every single person he knows would be mentioned in the series.

At the moment, amazon .com has the Indiana Jones 4 movie 4K pack for 39.99, but the blu ray 4 pack of 4 Indy movies is only 19.99 at the moment, no longer 29.99 as before, for those interested. "Indiana Jones 4-Movie Collection" That's $5 for each Indy movie blu ray of 4.

Then when this film arrives on blu ray 4K, hopefully it'll include lots of extras since it'll likely be Ford's last run as the hero.

Helena is Marcus Brody’s daughter! It makes complete sense, he and Indy were great friends and father & daughter are both British!

That's a good point. His adventures probably spanned over decades, and we're really only seeing brief moments of his biggest adventures and some of the people he's met at different times in his life.

It'll be good to see the new trailer of Indy 5 instead of that rough looking leaked trailer cut up into pieces from what I saw with the poor sound.
Hopefully before Avatar 2.

For some of the bigger stunts, they probably rarely use the actual actor, so I expect some stunts and fights with Harrison's de-aged face layered over the stuntman's face for the flashback scenes in this film.

I wonder how much of a percentage of Indy 5 will be flashbacks versus the modern hero in his elder years?

The film opens with a 1944 flashback. That’ll be about it probably.

We still don’t know if she will even be in this. It will be strange if she doesn’t all eat even briefly, but there’s been no confirmation anywhere yet about her, even from the actress herself.
