Shazaam 2's theatrical box office results will be interesting to see, regarding a lesser known, less famous character of DC receiving an equal or greater box office than the first film or not.

Atom Man, I think is a tiny, microscopic super hero of DC that I'd like to see compete with Ant-Man of Marvel. That could be interesting to see DC's take on such a character.

The two best films so far for me, with the last Suicide Squad in third place.

Man Of Steel was just horrible. Lifeless, lacking in soul and a CGI borefest for the last 30 minutes. It just didn’t suit the ‘Superman ethos’ for me. Not a fan of Snyder’s style either.

Batman V Superman was a mess.

Thank goodness The Batman came along, that’s how you make a modern Batman film.

Suicide Squad 2021 deserved to make lots of money. I do think the DCU is in very safe hands with Gunn however.

Supporters use to compare the first five DCEU movies in comparison to the first five MCU movies as a show of how much better the DCEU was doing despite the MCU starting off with less known characters and a fledgling Studio. As opposed to DC using their A listers right off the bat, but the comparisons seem to have stopped after Aquaman was released.

I think through WW, they were getting by on name recognition and that Aquaman was a more of an exception than the rule that an extended universe just doesn't benefit them.

You can make an exception that JL was tampered with, Shazam was released in between Captain Marvel and Endgame. Birds of Prey opened during the beginning of the pandemic but was still outgrossed by Sonic. WW84 & TSS were released during the pandemic. But, Black Adam? Out of the next 4 DCEU movies, Shazam 2, Aquaman 2, Flash and Blue Beetle, if Aquaman 2 doesn't do better, then I don't see another DC movie doing well unless you go outside the DCEU with either Joker 2 or the Batman 2.

I think whatever the initial plans are that James Gunn is coming up, or his phase 1, I think it'll culminate with a Justice League: Kingdom Come movie.
