I had no problem with any of Infinity War's CGI aside from Banner in the Hulkbuster suit. Everything else was on point, imo.

The only thing Black Panther had on par with Infinity War was the portrayal of Black Panther.

I'm mixed on the VFX for Infinity War as well. Especially the Hulkbuster scenes. But at least Infinity War has an excuse. It was a cosmic story after all, while Black Panther was more earth based.

As long as CGI isn't glaringly bad (Hulkbuster head) then I'm fine with it. I've seen IW nearly 20 times now and thought it looks as good on my TV as it did in theaters.

They both look fine. I’m just saying that if you’re going to nitpick Black Panther’s visuals I hope you’re also nitpicking Infinity War’s because they both have bigger VFX problems than movies of their budgets should.

Kind of depends on the film for me. I’m probably more receptive to the highs and lows in CGI quality when the movie starts off with Josh Brolin as an 8 feet tall purple lump waving around a golden glove powered by lucky charms than I would be with something like Black Panther, which has its science fiction and even fantasy elements but is generally trying for a more grounded aesthetic.

My problem with the VFX for Infinity War is that it looks compressed, mostly likely to hide the rushed inconsistencies.

Literally, we'll be in 2020s by the time this comes out and this has no reason not to look as good as something like Avatar 2.

A trilogy is guaranteed but beyond that, who knows? BP will be taking Iron Man's place in the MCU if I had to guess.

They mystery isn't supposed to be whether or not the Snapped characters will come back, it's HOW they'll come back.
