The VFX were on par with Infinity War. Let’s hope both sequels can step up their game.

I had no problem with any of Infinity War's CGI aside from Banner in the Hulkbuster suit. Everything else was on point, imo.

They both look fine. I’m just saying that if you’re going to nitpick Black Panther’s visuals I hope you’re also nitpicking Infinity War’s because they both have bigger VFX problems than movies of their budgets should.

Kind of depends on the film for me. I’m probably more receptive to the highs and lows in CGI quality when the movie starts off with Josh Brolin as an 8 feet tall purple lump waving around a golden glove powered by lucky charms than I would be with something like Black Panther, which has its science fiction and even fantasy elements but is generally trying for a more grounded aesthetic.
Give me more of Lupita Nyong’o: Super Spy. |
