Flixster Subtitles / Closed Captions? - Blu-ray Forum

I redeemed my first UV movie today through Roadshow Australia. It was redeemed through flixster without any problem.

I want to download the movie but just wondering about subtitles/closed captions and can't find the answer anywhere after an extensive search.

If I choose to download a Flixster movie with subtitles. Can they be turned off when watching or are they permanently embedded in the movie an not able to be switched off? Mainly using the Flixster app on an Android phone.

I watch movies on Flixster with my laptop Windows computer and I find I can turn the captions on/off. The only problem I'm having is when using the captions they don't seem to coincide with the movie and I have the words displayed either 5 seconds before or after the actual spoken word.
