King of Thieves joins the list:
https://www.refused-classification.c...ing-of-thieves I've heard from a couple of sources that the film is terrible, so now there are two reasons not to see it. |

I wonder if the people at Universal Sony Pictures monitor this forum... As per JB Hi-Fi preview listings:
BD & 4K; ![]() ![]() DVD; ![]() Hopefully this means the original cut is included. (You never know, it could just be special features or something - I'm sure if someone wants to find out it'll be on the classification website.) |

There are two listings for the film on the OFLC site for the Blu-ray, I'm assuming one for 4K and one for regular Blu-ray. Both still say "MODIFIED". The DVD, which is PG, also says "MODIFIED".
Interestingly, for one of the Blu-ray listings, Language & Violence has jumped from Mild Impact to Moderate Impact. For the other Blu-ray listing (which was classified ten days after the previous), Violence is Moderate but Language is back to Mild. Soooo... I dunno. Would be super weird for Universal Sony to release the modified version on disc when the disc is rated M anyway. I still haven't seen this one, but at this rate, I'll be importing from overseas to make sure I get an uncut copy. This type of censorship is asinine and ludicrous in 2019. |

Lazy pricks at Studio Canal ported the UK master so we got the BBFC 15 edit, even though the uncut version played in cinemas... |

I agree it would be safe to buy the UHD, since it should be pressed in the US, since Paramount is also the US dizzy.
As for the BD, since it’s Paramount, I’d say it would be a Region Free from OS (like Transformers, War of the Worlds and Saving Private Ryan) as the disc architecture and transfer are from the US. I also hope that the M15+ appearing on the covers is a clear indication it is the uncut version. Although, I have been fooled before: The Walking Dead S1 is cut in Australia (despite an MA15+) and across all Region B territories (Thanks to EOne), with the German Special Uncut Edition, (which came out years later), being the only uncut release outside North America. ![]() |

Thank goodness I noticed the thread. All three of these are on my to buy list, so I'll wait for after release on them.
Oflc is listing the Blu-ray release of Instant Family and Bumblebee as higher than theatrical, so fingers crossed. |

Okay this might throw a spanner in the works...
I've found the back cover for the Australian 4K and Blu ray of Bumblebee and as can be seen it states that the film itself is rated PG but the special features are rated M (same thing is on back of the Blu-ray). So at least on the Blu-ray edition its possible it might be the cut version - the 4K disc however is always sourced from the U.S by Paramount so it will very likely be the uncut U.S version. |
