Default FandangoNOW and my ultraviolet library

I thought ALL of my ultraviolet movies and tv shows would've been added to FandangoNOW library by Sept 1st but non of the tv shows and only some of the ultraviolet movies have been added sure they're on vudu but stuff that I have only on iTunes has been added but again I thought it would be wrapped up by now and maybe the holdouts would finally join Movies anywhere!

The Ultraviolet tab is still on the FN website which still holds all the UV titles. No updates to my Roku devices either as UV is still there. And UV titles have not been added to the FN libraries yet.

It will likely happen very soon. Today is Sunday and tomorrow is Labor Day so it's unlikely anything will happen within the next few days. It sucks waiting, but I would rather FN does it right than to rush and screw things up. Hopefully it's not too long away.

My hope is after everything has transitioned the holdouts would sooner rather than later get onboard Movies anywhere with ultraviolet gone it would be ideal timing then they have to work on the tv side

You have to understand that the "majors" missing from MA (Paramount, Lionsgate, MGM) are all either in the midst of "merging" with VCBS or potential targets of a merger and are considered "in play". Until all of these players fates are "finalized" I doubt we'll see and resolution regarding their MA membership.

I called FandangoNOW and complained about the complete lack of tv shows in the tv library even if it's showing up in the ultraviolet library and was told if you have a ultraviolet movie or tv shows and FandangoNOW doesn't have any rights to the content! Then it is up to Movies anywhere to get the rights as if FandangoNOW can't because of previous agreements those have to expire in order to get the same right to sell it on FandangoNOW and flixter is finally dead next month in the rest of the world so that might work towards Movies anywhere favor with no way to get ultraviolet after Oct the holdouts might be waiting for the complete end of ultraviolet everywhere before seeing a need for Movies anywhere! We can hope for the quickest resolution to this stupidity of NOT having your library everywhere then we will have to wait for the complete tv shows side of things to finish!

UPDATE i got home tonight checked the roku ultra with the FandangoNOW app and movies and tv shows have started to merge with my existing FandangoNOW library still NOT completely merged but most of the movies and some of the tv shows are finally in the home library!!

The ultraviolet tab on the library section is gone and perhaps the impending doom of flixter in the rest of the world has prompted action.

We'll have to watch the Movies anywhere front to see if anyone is joining or if PlayStation store joins the retailer end of things.

Oddly the FN website hasn't been updated like the iphone app which has a-z and z-a NOT just the purchase order but my lg tv and roku ultra both have the newest version of the app and still lacks sorting while the website seems to lag farther behind!

I can use the kindle fire tablets to watch movies on FandangoNOW but I have to select the desktop page and after that the movie starts in a tiny box nearly unwatchable so then you touch the bottom right corner and then it fills the screen seems like if you select the desktop page and can play the content it's going to fill the screen without any more hoops to jump through?!

Did your UV movies, which are also MA enabled, port to your MA after FN added to the main library?

The only ones I'm seeing so far are some TV items. Batman Animated is still missing a few episodes. But for now seems to be Warner/HBO TV so far. And no movies yet have ported through.

Hmmm, looks like they aren't granting MA rights or no MA studios movie have transferred yet?

You could try disconnecting the fn from ma for 15 mins and reconnect to see if that pushes the new titles to ma.

Still nothing porting from FandangoNow to MA.

I just connected a different FN to a different MA account with the same result, a few titles unique to that MA account ported to FN but none of the FN MA titles ported to MA.

Anyone have a different experience?

I'm seeing the same thing.

I'm trying to reconnect a FDN to a shared MA account but it keeps telling me that it's already connected, but in MA it shows FDN as disconnected and movies are not following either way

A couple interesting developments I noted for me:
  • Tomb Raider reboot now shows 4K rights instead of SD.
  • Dark City: Director's Cut still shows SD from when MA overwrote the HD rights from Ultraviolet.

  • Some titles FandangoNow shows as owned from the MA screwup at launch did not port over to my primary library, but still show up in my UV library. EDIT: After posting this, I realized they now show up.

my vudu account still have about 250 movies more than my fandangonow account, that's about 10 % of my total movies. I guess some movies are just not available on fandangonow
