If those are Crying Freeman and New Dominion Tank Police than Discotek has Crying Freeman on DVD and New Dominion Tank Police has a DVD release from Maiden Japan. Just no Blu-ray.

Oh nice, i didn't know that Irresponsible Captain Tylor is getting a BD release. Where did you get information though? I looked that up and the only thing I could find was it getting a BD in 2018... (clearly, that didn't happen)

I've always been a fan of 'Girls Bravo' and to my recollection there hasn't been much (if any) released on home media

As well as the English dub, if thatís more your style. Both is always the best option, when available!

Fair warning that it is a pretty expensive set to import. I haven’t seen the price for it on Amazon JP ever drop below •28000 (~$260 USD) but it’s usually in the 32k-35k range from what I’ve noticed, plus you have to tack on whatever shipping charges are. Look for it on Mandarake instead; I imported my copy about 2 months ago from there for a total of •23290 (that includes shipping) which came out to barely under $220 USD. Plus it was new in its original polybag.

Note that the quality of every Girls Brave DVD release in NA is pretty bad. Girls Bravo is one of the shows where Kadokawa intentionally sabotaged the R1 release to prevent reverse-importation by providing only composite masters, and for some reason, FUNimation also got composite masters when they rescued it unlike say FMP! Fumoffu? (ADV=Composite FUNi=Not composite).

So is the Blu-ray quality on Funimations FMP releases bad then? I have the main series in my collection, but I don't open my purchases. Just curious.

Thanks, it's the original 4 act Tank Police I would like on Blu. Acts I & II were the first VHS I bought back in the early 90's. I have them on DVD but would love an upgrade.

Acts I & II were given away free with a PlayStation 2 magazine here in the UK many years ago. I eventually tracked down Acts III & IV on disc years later. Seems to be very rare in England.

I was speaking about the DVDs. When ADV Films first licensed Fumoffu, Kadokawa on purpose sent them composite masters, so it had lots of dot crawl and everything. It was just one of dozens of series Kadokawa was sending out composite masters on purpose to make the cheaper R1 release way less appealing for Japanese consumers to import (despite them being in DVD Region 2). Later when FUNimation got the series, they got very clean masters, the masters ADV should have got, but Kadokawa never sent out of reverse-importation fears. FUNi's FMP! BDs are fine IIRC, though TSR has like dropped frames in the OP I think.

They actually fixed it at some point during the original release run. Might only be the last two discs they got proper masters for though.
