I wonder how many real full length episodes of One Piece there would actually be if you edited out all the recaps and flashbacks? I remember trying to watch it on Toonami for a little while and it seemed like every new episode barely had 5 minutes of new content.

Personally, I think 3-4 episodes per manga volume depending on wordiness is good pacing for an anime, the One Piece manga is on the wordier side so 4 episodes a volume would be fine. 95 volumes x 4 = 380 episodes.
That would put it right up there with the 5-7 of content per episode estimate you have since each episode adapts just a single chapter and a volume has 10-12 chapters in it.

I followed the anime up until the conclusion of the War at Marineford and I just gave up because of all the unnecessary filler crap going on. I don't mind filler arcs because you can just stop watching until the manga adapatation resumes, but when you just pad out episode after episode with crap to elongate 20mins of Anime (and it usually was less than 20mins once flashbacks were removed) to cover one chapter of the manga, it becomes interminably awful.

In fact, it's not just One Piece, I've become completely disillusioned with Anime shows based on serial manga in total and just given up on it all because the Japanese studios have proven time after time after time that they don't have a clue how to properly develop them, Either they just churn them out week after week with no seasonal breaks until they rapidly catch up to the manga and then they are totally ruined, or they comission new shows X amount of years down the line... and don't adapt all of the material properly! They cut a shitload out and ruin it. Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Berserk, etc. They can't help themselves, they have to **** it up.

I wouldn’t read too much into that. Like I recently bought Viz titles at the Dollar Tree a few months ago or so that have been OOP for years.

Which titles? All I've found were some old Yu-Gi-Oh volumes from Cinedigm. I never find anything good.

I remember some of those Megaman NT DVDs were valuable a few years ago. That's pretty neat.

Nope. You either have Megaman series made for America or ones from Japan that were heavily Edited for America and incomplete Dubs.

Movie 11 - "Straw Hat Chase" seems unavailable
Movie 12 - "Film Z" available on Blu-ray/DVD
Movie 13 - "Good" available on Blu-ray/DVD
Movie 14 - "Stampede" available on Blu-ray/DVD

Is that it? I know Selecta Visión in Spain has released all up to date, but I'd prefer them in English. Plus, SV tends to DNR video sources unnecessarily.

We’ve already known for a while that Shonen Jump’s top dog One Piece has been on its way to Netflix. But while the mysterious live action version won’t see the light of day any time soon, Netflix has gotten a hold of the anime as well. Starting on June 12, 2020, the first two “arcs” of One Piece will be available for streaming.

The first two arcs are known as the East Blue and Alabasta Sagas. These storylines make up the first 130 episodes of the anime, which translates to about 117 chapters or 24 volumes of Eiichiro Oda’s original manga. While it’s coming to Netflix this year, One Piece has been readily available on other services, such as Crunchyroll and Funimation’s own platforms.

130 episodes sounds like a lot, but it’s a drop in the bucket for One Piece. The anime adaptation has reached over 900 episodes, and the series has been running in the pages of Shonen Jump since 1997. Despite other big series coming and going since then, One Piece has consistently been Shonen Jump’s most popular series in Japan.

Europe? The only countries in Europe that speak in English are Britain, and some of the Netherlands. The rest all use their own languages, whether they made their own dub of One Piece or not.

Spain.. more exactly Spanish (they use about 5 languages there), they've been dubbing ever film to date, but the series are "paused" on episode 263 and no one knows if they'll ever continue it. If Luk Internacional owned the license they'd dub it because they've been dubbing Doraemon and Shin-chan for years, and those two series have well over 1k episodes.

Folks thought Dragon Ball Z was big with 291 episodes, but then comes One Piece which may very well reach 1000 episodes.
