Unfortunately I waited too long and the price went up and now I'm not interested in getting it unless the price goes back down again. Ohh well, no rush I guess...

Did anyone's copy come with a slipcover?

My copy, and every picture/video I see are bare. I contacted Funimation to figure out how it's supposed to look, but they said it'd be a while for the answer.

No slipcover for these release.

This set is so hard to find at a reasonable price in Canada... Anyone here knows the best place to get it?

Finally, I succumbed to the temptation and bought the set on eBay.ca! It was a little expensive, but being in isolation *makes me* buy random stuff online!!!

I also have the Golden Age movie trilogy on Blu-ray, and now I hope they release the 1997-1998 series someday. But before watching that series, I'll read the first 4 Berserk deluxe manga!

If you have access to a region free solution, the UK has the original series released on Blu-ray.

Yes, I have it, but I keep hoping for a US release, just in case it has added bonus features or even better AQ/PQ. I'm not holding my breath, but I still wish for it. Also, region A are always so more easy for watching elsewhere. I love to watch or re-watch anime with my younger brother, and he doesn't have (and won't have) a region free player.

I'd very my like to get the UK bluray, but it always seems so expensive. Either the set itself i costly, the shipping is costly, or both are =/

If a sale ever happens and enough people want it, maybe we can do another group buy like we did for Snow White/Red Hair =)

The whole thing comes out to $53 USD from that website. I dunno if there's a better place to buy it though.

Might appear at say Zavvi or other UK retailer some time down the line though.
I've placed an order for this one and the Samurai Champloo Steel a while ago.

Yes, I snagged both of those Steel books on Day 6 of MVM's Holiday Sale when they were on sale for £24 each. They've both been delayed, so I don't know if the release dates on AOL are accurate now or not.

I emailed them yesterday afternoon about what to do, and they simply refunded me £7.00 GBP. The total then came out to £35.99 GBP / $44.87 USD shipped.

But the Easter coupon actually should have dropped this down to £30.99 GBP / $38.63 USD shipped, so I guess I'll just re-order it again and cancel the first. I hope that doesn't piss anyone off on their end, lol
