I just got an email that AnimeOnLine shipped Berserk out. But now I'm all paranoid since I live in California where those garbage looters are hiding in the protest groups and robbing Amazon/FedEx/UPS trucks =/ I hope this makes it safely to my front door...

Oh crap, I'm in the same situation, and now I feel more nervous than ever since I have a bunch of stuffs coming from Zavvi, Amazon, RS, and Target.

This is not a good time for mail orders.

I don't mind the delays one bit since I won't watch new stuffs anytime soon, but with the delivery/mail trucks being robbed by looters, that is a whole new level of problem.

Just got my shipping notice. How good is anime-on-line.com in terms of protection? I hope to god they won't ship this in a bubble mailer.

They just shipped my Ajin Season 2 CE in a large cardboard wing-wrap, and it was out roaming in the wilds for 6 weeks before it got to me, and still arrived without a scratch or ding on the box. Packages from AOL usually get to me in 10 days. If I order multiple titles they ship them in cardboard boxes with lots of brown paper around each of them. I'm hoping mine will be shipped in a box since I have both Steelbooks coming.

Mine didn't come in a box. It came in one of those vacuum sealed corrugated brown packages.

Well those are usually Ok for sending stuff even with slips, unless the package gets severely crushed items should arrive Ok. Still. since I also ordered the Samurai Champloo steelbook and they are shipping together, I really hope they use a box.

I had 2 things shipped at the same time from them. One was the Berserk steelbook. I thought they would come in a box together, but I already received the other item in a padded envelope. So even though they shipped "together", they didn't, I guess. So Berserk may or may not come in a box. Just FYI.

I got mine today in a box. Unfortunately, the top of the steelbook was bent forward. I was able to warp it back, but it’s still a bummer.

Sounds like the zavvi shipping method. I always got bent steelbooks from them because of their lame boxes. It was one of the reasons I gave up collecting steelbooks back in the day. The longer my package takes to get to me, the less hopeful I am.

Is Zavvi shipping slow? I have a package on the way that says it should be here between June 5th - June 12th and is still not here. Should I be worried or wait a bit longer before freaking out. Don't use them often and they don't send tracking info.

I haven't bought from them since 2018, but I remember the shipping speed being pretty good.

You should sign up for informed delivery on usps, it shows what packages are coming to your address. It's helpful sometimes for packages you weren't given a tracking number for.

I have good experience with Zavvi too. Granted, I haven't ordered a huge volume of stuff from them but the padding/packaging in the boxes I've gotten have been sufficient.

I stopped buying from them as well because of that. They don't use good packaging anymore.

They were on the same order but only Berserk was a steelbook.

My steelbook came yesterday, not in a box. Luckily it showed up in fine shape. It's a really nice looking steelbook.
