I think you are correct - the Blu-rays aren't even listed anymore on Sentai's website. It's an old license so they probably don't have it anymore.

Blood-C: The Last Dark is starting to go for $$$ on eBay. I think it's OOP. Gonna check the series while I'm at it.

EDIT: Blood-C: The Last Dark is no longer listed on Rightstuf or Funimation's website. Still streaming, but not for physical purchase. The original series in SAVE edition is still listed on Funimation, but not Rightstuf. Not sure if it's OOP, but anyone who's interested in owning the series and film might want to do so quickly.

There was supposed to be an Essentials release for the series that was originally scheduled for 04/21/20. However it was later cancelled. There have been three separate releases for the series though. The LE, a standard set, and a S.A.V.E. edition. The movie, I believe has only been released on two separate occasions: the standard release as well as the S.A.V.E. edition.

FUNimation has gotten much smarter about how many units to print for their LEs over the last few years so there aren't a bunch of unsold copies sitting around for years (too many of those over the years). I remember reading on a post on Fandom Post (can't remember where it is) that apparently now they base the print run off how many pre-orders they get.

Dang, they really are going to start doing smaller print runs. I guess if you want a newer Funi LE better get it as they are going more Aniplex on us.

I'm not the biggest fan of Violet Evergarden, but even I knew that the LE was going to sell out fast because of how popular the show is and how much a domestic release was in demand. I pre-ordered mine a couple days after the listing went live on Rightstuf.

I am bummed that there's probably thousands of people who wont have the chance to own the Limited Edition though. Sorry folks
